That's some pretty good chart-editing, although I'm still kinda glad the final had the spinny-skipping stuff. Saturn wouldn't really have that "ringy" feeling without it, really. So I think the 
chart they went with was more fitting; but I can't say I wouldn't play the others, too.

^That's the point of it being understepped. The fact that you can go from 332 steps to over 450 and still have the chart flow really well proves that.

The note placement in that chart is eh, the doublestepping doesn't help it flow and there's a rather large amount of stepping to nothing. If it were rearranged to actually flow properly, might be a nice chart.
chart, presents a challenge but kept it fun.

I assume you are referring to the SN2 Beta chart?

UNDERSTEPPED:
SHOOTING STAR Expert (This song is my 3rd favorite license in 4th Mix. (It loses out to SAINT GOES MARCHING (REMIX) and KICK THE CAN.) However, this chart is my 2nd least favorite of all the licenses in 4th Mix because it's just a bunch of mish-mosh that happens to be understepped. (My least favorite chart from the 4th Mix licenses would be THE 7 JUMP because it doesn't have exactly 7 jumps.))
CAN'T STOP FALLIN' IN LOVE -super euro version- Expert (The chart is mostly quarter notes with a few eighths here and there. It had so much potential, yet it ended up the worst chart of all Bemani crossovers in Supernova.)
TimeHollow Expert (There could be 16ths during the chorus.)
CUTIE CHASER (MORNING MIX) Expert (The original was perfect. This remix is just a measly 5-footer. Not cool, KONMAI. Not cool.)

Walkovers [for those unfamiliar, that is a "L-U-R-L-U-R" type step pattern] at a high speed are just brutal which is why Vanessa is a 16 instead of a 15.
I made an easy 12 out of CSFIL Euro version. I dunno why that song is badly underrated.
I agree that TimeHollow is understepped but vastly overrated. It is NOT a 10 on-SP. It is at most an 9 and an easy one at that.

I think that GOLD RUSH Expert can be put in a category for charts that can't be placed in any category. The rhythm patterns are perfect. It's the actual steps that Konami decided to use that make this chart questionable. This chart should've been a 12 because of that.
