I think it would be great to see some kind of BEST OF or ANTHOLOGY mix, or something more like DDRMAX where there were no previously included songs and they started with a fresh new list. If they take the DDRMAX approach, though, I would hope they start with more than 42 songs or however many that mix has. I'd probably like to see more ITG influence in the new mix as well. I like the Pink & Blue theme that the Location Test picture indicates. I think the colors are pleasant and since DDRUSA was the mix I started playing on, those colors have some nostalgia factor for me. I'm looking forward to seeing what this new mix has to offer.

Eh, I think most of us are just going to hold out on saying much of anything about the game until Friday when we can get some picture/video access of the loc test. Not a bad post...

Oh and Silverhawke, seriously? If you don't want to read through general guessing and people making theories of how the game will look like/songs included/crossover events/MAX PERIOD, then don't reeaaad it? Sciiiiim through it?
As mentioned before, from what I'm reading it's just basic hype for the game, people are throwing around guesses for what's to come, wouldn't it be something for some of us to be wrong with our predictions and/or get something right?

Color scheme's interesting. Pink and blue is weird but Konami makes it work. Here's hoping for more Beatmania crossovers (been liking a handful of BM exclusives lately) and harder licenses, (at least 10 footers, because I can't stand easy licenses especially the ones in DDR X2 USA)

Universe 3 remains the only game to have a 10
(14 X-scale IMO) license which was Conga. I wonder if the pink and blue is girls vs boys. Rage vs Emi dance battles maybe?

X-scale wise, future gazer
is a 14 on doubles. And the point of licenses IMO is to get new people hooked into the game and hopefully stay for the KOs. Hard licenses are unnecessary.OK, I think I'll shut up now and wait until Friday.

Well this is some refreshing news! I am glad to see that we are getting another arcade version. With this announcement we can pretty much lay to rest our worries about Ddr being dead at least in the arcade scene. I can't wait till Friday. Are we going to have anyone on the inside at the tests this go round?

I've got bad news. This mix better not be a joke like how it was on SN-X3 where a bunch of nostalgic content from DS feat. TKD and the DDR Universe games got ignored. If it is done again, current players won't remember how the past of DDR was like.
Right now my home city has six DDR mixes to catch up because of this mess. If upgrade kits are finally produced for EXTREME cabinets, then my arcades would be happy; all I just have to do is remind the employees of the arcades and the future of DDR will come. I just want to play a more recent mix instead of always having to spend my relatives' cash only to play out of home.

fripSide Double doesn't count? (Although those 13/14 footers I don't consider old-scale 10's.)
