SOUND VOLTEX BOOTH (AC) (Japan)

After hearing those three songs I already HATE those blue and pink sliders. They make the most obnoxious sound and are in every song doing the same basic thing.

It seems that those are an additional effect, as opposed to actually part of the song, as with the long notes.

I thought I wasn't going to be excited about anything that wasn't dubstep MAX 300 or smoooooch oAo or the Gentle Stress remix, and that the rest of the soundtrack was going to be absolute shit.
But oh god that EVANS remix is amazing. Now I am excited.

How much is the pricing per game?

Because I know for a fact that the machines in Project A near Sunshine City is priced at 200 yen per 3 songs.

It was 100 yen per 3 songs tonight.

EDIT> I'm not sure how much St. Tropez in Ikebukuro is charging, though.

Could someone translate the bit about a remix contest on the second page?

They're basically challenging the player base or other doujin artist to make remixes of previous Bemani songs and upload them onto Sound Voltex Floor.

If they win, the song will be made playable in Sound Voltex Booth.

Can anyone explain more details about this remix contest? When does the contest start? And what is Sound Voltex Floor? How does it work?

Think of Sound Voltex Floor as a pseudo-ZIV or Bemanistyle.

Users are able to upload all their work (be it original music, Bemani remixes, and artwork for said songs) onto SVF.

From there, the best music and remixes will be made available for play in SVBooth.

However, since SVF isn't open yet, no one knows how they'll decide which songs will be made playable in SVB.

It could be based on Bemani's on preference or anyone who has access to the E-Amuse service.

That said, the remix contest doesn't go into much details on the pamphlet other than saying that there is a contest for remixing any previous Bemani songs, which covers from Beatmania to Reflec Beat and would (possibly) include discontinued games like Para Para Paradise and Keyboardmania.

As for when the contest starts...I assume that whenever SVF is open for use.

The woosh is an effect that plays when the effector nobs are used, they are not in the actual songs themselves.
