This is a good point. The teams that administer DDR seem so fragmented, and I feel this is why the series quality is all over the place. On one hand, you have the Japanese arcade team, which knows what they're doing, and then you have... some array of other teams that have clearly different ideas on where the series should go, and regardless of their vision they have failed at execution. They need to get a top-level DDR plan that coordinates the teams to create a cohesive, consistent suite of DDR products that uphold some standard of quality. It seems right now they have no overarching DDR plan whatsoever; and if they do, they need to fire whoever made it since the plan seems to be "do whatever the hell you want."

I partially blame Apple for this. How on Earth did they allow this to be approved?

Apple doesn't know a good DDR game from a hole in the wall. The app met all the technical guidelines for release, it didn't have to be a shining example of a music game.

Apple doesn't vet quality; look at the fart apps. Their store terms say nothing about quality, just that they won't violate a nebulous set of inconsistently administered rules.

It could be NAOKI is just hiding the fact that he knows it exists. He must know we all think it's crap, and doesn't want us to think he's the evil behind it.

But yes, the fact that NO KONAMI Originals are there also goes on to think this game isn't official...
Then again, KONAMI is really moving onto all licensed songs (which I don't approve of)

Well, obviously they do. They give us crap releases like EX CS, and I must admit, BM US wasn't the best (but it's better than nothing)
All of the US CS releases don't live up to the JP CS releases.

I wish KONAMI could put a little more effort into giving us as nice releases as Japan has, like their EX CS and just translate it.
It's not all that hard.

I also wish they would give us things like IIDX and pop n' music PS2 releases as well.
I think they could do really well in the US. They just had bad timing when they released BM US, which was a main cause of it's low ratings *cough*G4*hack*
