jubeat plus / jukebeat (iOS/Android)

If you have a jailbroken iDevice, you can get all the songs for jubeat plus... (not going into detail) Using that same process of getting them to work, you can add those jubeat plus songs to jukebeat. I have done this, and it lets me "restore" the songs I "bought" to jukebeat. I played Theory of Eternity today in jukebeat, I felt dirty.
So, it is possible. From what I read the max score is determined by the number of songs so they added more (it is possible) and as a result there are hacked scores. However, there is also a high score file (I think) that can be easily transferred over... So people can have really high scores in both games.

But why would you do that? =_=

I only have the first version of the iPhone/iPod Touch version of jubeat plus. I've just had no interest in playing on the iPhone's tiny screen compared to the iPad version. It's so sad I do have all of the songs still though just not on the iPhone. I tried to just put them in the Jukebeat App folder directly but I guess the iPhone (Universal) version has to have some sort of modified file or something. Right?

Correct, you have to modify part of the app. The only way you can do that is if you have a jailbroken device, because the application you need is only available on Cydia (the AppStore of jailbroken iDevices pretty much). If you were to simply just drag and drop it without jailbreaking or changing the part, it would not work at all.

Yeah I kinda figured that. I remember it worked on the old iPad version then they updated it for the Universal release. I saw that there were some new instructions when it came out because there were some trouble with the people on the iPhone/iPod Touch devices. I'm just too lazy, I'd just stay on the old iPad version since the newer versions only add like what, the Ripples theme and minor bug fixes?

This works in both jubeat plus and jukebeat.

Step 1: Launch app.
Step 2: In the title screen, place and hold finger on the middle of the screen.
Step 3: Drag finger on the direction below and release, repeat step with next direction.
↑ ↑ ↓ ↓ ← → ← →
Step 4: Tap the "B" then "A" letter in the jubeat or jukebeat sign.

If you're on the "classic" theme, you get faster scrolling blocks
If you're on the "rippples" theme, you can the ripples in the background expand then go back to normal

Anyone else noticed there's a slight issue with Polaris ADV where around 1:20-1:25 of the song it would cut your combo due to a hidden marker due to the animation taking too long to finish on button 13 (bottom-left)?

Bump: Tomorrow will mark 2 weeks since we got the last packs, I wonder what songs we'll get if any.

Hopefully more of the better songs like bass2bass but we will have to find out.

EDIT: So without any new song packs in the past weeks, I guess this means Konami has given up on Jukebeat this quick?

They did update the news ticker to tell people to visit and "like" the jukebeat Facebook page a couple of days ago. There doesn't seem to be anything official about it, and it was definitely unofficial two weeks ago, but jukebeat is linking to it now.

Yeah that's the only update there's been and the fact the game got updated to 2.6.0 with "bug fixes".

I hope this Friday they do release something, it would've been FOUR weeks by then.

Not to be rude but the lack of song packs for Jukebeat makes me question that Konami dosen't want any of their rhythm game to be succesful in the states besides DDR & Karaoke Revolution. Just think, they didn't even want the game to become succesful in the first place from when they started with the Ubeat location tests & the attempts with beatmania IIDX & pop n' music (even though they were crappy). It's irritating.
