[WIP] DDR X2 AC theme for Stepmania 4-ssc

i have no msn here. only in yahoo... anyway, i can upload a modified default sm ssc theme only with modified player options, song option and main option. for you to analyze the metric and use the code. but that's just the improvement since im also busy with SM REDUX's DDR SN2 theme re-updating as requested by two members here. Just tell me what function you are looking for.

I use a version control system, you could just download tortoisehg, I'll add you to my private repo, and then you could download the alpha code and push up the revision.

You could include the Groove Radar, but it's up to you.

I couldn't use the theme because it has the dreaded
Singles % / %%
Doubles % / %%
on the main screen. It literally takes my computer 30+ minutes to determine these values, and the screen is BLANK the whole time, it pretty much crashes StepMania since I have to wait the 30+ minutes and press start before it goes back to the teaser screens (at which point the next time I press start it's another 30+ minute to show the title screen again).

If you would remove or disable this equation in your theme please. I'm limited to only 3 themes on SM4.0 that don't have this fatal flaw (SM4.0 default, custom ITG theme, and custom ITG2 theme), heck even ITG PC theme has this nasty equation. It's not nearly as bad when you have under 1,000 songs but the more songs you have the longer it takes (EXPONENTIALLY) to figure out the pointless values.

Or in other words, me and midiman are planning a development reboot. We're going to start using the fallback theme instead of default, which should make it easier to maintain compatibility, not have cruft, etc

We are brainstorming stuff we will be adding, and we might try to add Replicant D-Action support. Yes, you heard that right.

That's the new folder from DDR X2, consisting solely of extra and encore stages, similar to the stuff that's in IIDX nowadays. Each song has to be unlocked through a different method.

Those graphics are hawt, though banner wheel needs a lot of work. (I've been playing with mine but FOV is giving me lots of trouble, since DDR X2's banners are identical in size/distance and FOV does not result in identically sized images)

How do you do reflections? I'm guessing it's a negative scale and a diffusealpha of some kind, but I have no idea how it would be implemented...

RE MusicWheel: I haven't touched it really, it's all lirodon who did that much. I despise ItemTransforms with a passion since they tend to break too often, but that's just my stance on it. If you can suggest anything that'd be rad, since yours is lookin muy beuno.

as for the reflections, I rotz and rotx'd ( or was it y? ) the banner by 180 each, then croptop'd + fadetop+'d and diffusealpha,0.5

it's really nice once you figure out how to rotate it.
