Improper Foot Ratings

It's a 6 on the old scale, so it seems fitting that it's a NEW 8. It wasn't really hard to begin with, just slow.

The only part that seems a little difficult for its rating is the triple 8th jumps, but even that isn't that bad.

Well I thought it was hard enough. Definitely too hard for an 8 (new scale, it's harder than Think Ya Better D, and that's a 9 on the new scale), not too hard for a 6 (old scale) though.

Then Chance and Dice (doubles) is not a 10. :/

Oh, and Nemesis on the Ultramix series.

That was rated a 7. Definitely not 7-footer steps. Probably higher.

The ending of NEMESIS is really easy; it's just long, but the beginning is definitely 8 material. Overall though, it's just an awful chart that shouldn't exist. The Festival one is infinitely better.

Yeah, I just saw those steps. The DDR Festival ones are interesting, especially how they included that stop in the middle. :O

Most of the Ultramix DLC have craptacular steps that are underrated (MATSURI J-SUMMER MIX comes to mind). When brought over to FESTIVAL, they got slightly better.

Matsuri J-Summer Mix Singles is like a 7.
Doubles is accurate in rating though.

It's hard to rate the Ultramix DLC properly because most of it is just so awfully stepped. Like MATSURI (J-SUMMER MIX) is hard just because the steps make no sense and alternate between 8ths and 12ths for no reason. Easy to pass, but an incredible pain to score on.

By the way, on X2, SUPER SAMURAI SP- got bumped down to 15, which is fitting. And most of the X-Specials that were 15s got bumped down too, another good move.

I thought Super Samurai was quite well rated as a 16, though I agree that most of the 15 X-Specials weren't 15 at all, even some 14, like Kakumei and DDR, they're more 13 to me.

Paranoia Hades should be 3/9/10/10/12 instead of 3/7/8/9/10

The main reason the 1-20 scale exists is, IMO, the first four songs on that list.

Arrabbiata is 5/11/13/15
NGO is 6/10/12/15/18
Unreal is 4/8/12/15

...all of which seem fitting, though KONAMI can screw up once in a while. Venus was a 10, a 12 in DDR X US, but were bumped up to 11 and 13 respectively with DDR X AC. IMO the 10 and 12 should've been kept.

During that time, only Japan got the update...

How about Shades of Gray? That seemed too easy to be an 8. =\

Yeah, even the X-Scale rating is off, It should've been a 7 on the old scale, and a 9 on the new one. Regarding Time Hollow, I think it was perfect rated a 6 before, and should've been rated a 7 or 8 at the most on the X-Scale, though it's rated a 10 which is ridiculous to me.

Why did they change it to a 10? I'm just about certain it was an 8 on X US CS, and that was perfectly fine.

I've thought about the songs in the Xbox series that had charts, but no foot ratings. I personally would consider them to be:

Giudecca: Smells like 10-footer to me.

Desire (Comet remix): I'd call it a 9, it is pretty draining.

Grandolin: If this isn't a 10, it should be a very, VERY hard 9.

Stompin at the Gotham: Oh geez, I'm not so sure. I'd give that at least a 9. Maybe even a 10.

AM-3P (as DLC, it does have an chart): Definitely a 9.

Ecstasy (just like AM-3P): Also a 9, I think.

Candy*: Another 9, as it's another drainer.

Kiss Me All Night Long: Yes, definitely a 9, and a hard one at that.

Hot Limit: And yet another hard 9.

Koibito: Solid 8 footer.

Return of the Toe Jam: 10-footer for sure.

Maximizer: This should also be a 10.

Treble, Bass and Attitude: Somewhat of a 9. Not a hard one though.

Tsugaru (Or-If-Is Mix): A 10, because with such an excessive amount of jumps, this one's way too mean to be a 9.
