I still lol at how old that game has been in development...

...i think it was when i was in 6th grade that i heard about DNF...

and i graduate high school in 19 days and they either stopped/are STILL dragging this game until someone or no one wants to create it/publish it

So we have DDR Vol. 1. ,but what if Konami releases Vol.2 and the game has a different songlist and if you want to bring in the songlist from Vol.1, you need to pay for it?

...that's something that i kind of am worried about if this were to happen =/

Was it true that RB2 allowed you to place ALL of your RB1 songs onto the game? This could be a nice idea (especially for PS3 and Xbox 360)

How about bringing back 6 panel mode and the solo songs? not to mention the all but forgotten club songs. Honestly, if they're going to do a volume collection, they should just do DDR 1st - 3rd mix, 4th - 5th mix, 6th-8th, SN-X, then the "lost volume" with the club versions, solo stuff, and finally Home versions 1, 2 and 3 with everything from Hottest Party, Ultramix and Universe. Release the entire friggin DDR catalog as a series of games. Now THAT would be sweet.

19-20 more days until we should get some new information about the new DDR game.

E3 is June first through the 7th Ill watch G4 to see if any info is said

Well, I think this has been long awaited. Something tells me that putting it on all consoles means that this will be one huge game. *hopes for .59 and the option to pick different themes*

All the consoles can handle add-on discs. The PlayStation and the Dreamcast did, why not use that technology with everyone else? And the systems with a hard drive could also get DLC in addition to the main discs. I really do hope this is the start of a series of games that take the upper crust of the DDR series and reinvigorate it. Then when they get to the current content continue on.


Now you've done it, this feature needs to be in the game now or I will be severely disappointed.

so, since this is multi-platform maybe someone that actually knows how to program a game will work on the xbox engine. 60 FPS? on my xbox? i can only dream.

maxninja09, in Rock Band 1, once Rock Band 2 came out, you can select EXPORT songs in the game. You then pay $5 and it saves all the songs to your harddrive, kind of like DLC songs. Then when you go into RB2, you can play all the RB1 songs. I believe there were like 2 songs that were cut due to licensing issues, but its still a nice feature. I believe they have the $5 thing to also prevent someone from buying one copy and just passing it around a bunch letting a bunch of people get the songs for free.

The trackpacks that come on disc too, you get a download code in the case that lets you export all the songs to the hdd to play in RB2 with the rest of your collection instead of the standlone game that they come on. You can only use this code once though.

A re-release collection? Yeah, Konami won't like the profits from that.

It's not going to change people's purchasing habits, either, so it won't "revive" a decent number of songs.

I'm all for some Club Version revivals on Vol. 1, though.

If Konami did link the selection of songs to the songs chosen by the people in their forum...gosh...it's going to suck. Most of them didn't really pick at least decent songs.

I agree. Yes Sunkiss Drop is a good song, but there are other songs I'd rather see. When was the last time we've seen... R3?

...it's on SN already so why bother really? I would rather go for the classic/never released songs than recent songs making another appearance on this game (IMO)
