Anyone like my avatar? XD I have Heart Gold too, but if you want it, credit a guy named Drake Irving. He's my brother, and seen on the Tales forums (tales.namco.com/forum). I'll send the pic unless you wanna get the sprite yourself.

Look at these covers

[Right-Click and view image for a better resolution]
Nice uh?
...they are fakes C:
By the way, I wonder if you would still be able to transform your Shaymin, Giratina, Rotom, Deoxys, etc in SS and HG...

Ruby is the only game of the set I haven't played, but here's my opinion: TimeSpaceMage does make a good point of maybe a Normal or Fighting type as pick #6. I know that only in Ruby you can get Zangoose, and it is good at both Normal and Fighting type moves. I'm not so sure about ditching Mightyena because it does learn Crunch, but I'm not sure if you are willing to wait until 47 for it. I would suggest having an Electric type (even though you can teach your Gardevoir Thunderbolt) or get maybe a Steel type. Better yet, try getting a Trapinch. If you do, fear the ice.

Right now, Mightyena knows Thief and Bite, so I'm good and I can wait for Crunch. My Gardevoir knows Shock Wave.~ポスト #107 · 2009-05-11 09:50:42amにポスト 16年前

He can be tough without any fire or ground moves. I fought him last night and lost the first time; his Alakazam murdered my team because he was fast and his Focus Blast kept hitting me. (I really wasn't expecting it; I guess that's what I get for thinking my Probopass could withstand a few attacks...)
Anyway, keep at it! You can do it!

It's probably because you're using the Sudowoodo. You should use sudowoodo on Flint, because he's a rock type. Try a differecnt pokemon for what's his face. I beat him about 12 times last week, but I can't remember his name... :3
Oh yeah, I beat Clair and got over to Lugia.

Use Fire type for Bronzong..he is part Steel part Psychic..so Fire can definitely melt steel
but don't use Infernape..cause he is part fighting..he will have to take much damage from Psychic attackS
any suggestions what to add as the 6th member of my team?
INFERNAPE Lvl. 61
STARAPTOR Lvl. 63
FLOATZEL Lvl. 61
LUXRAY Lvl. 63
PALKIA Lvl. 60
???
I've finished the main story plot for Pearl..preparing to catch Heatran and Giratina
for now i'm focusing on catching shinies..through Poke Radar..luckily got 2 now Skitty and Farfetch'd
where can you catch Larvitar? i'm craving for one
And i like the covers for HeartGold and SoulSilver =) must have at least one, or better BOTH!!!!

Bronzong is actually a pretty lethal Pokémon when properly raised. It's two possible abilities either reduce or remove one of it's two weaknesses, heatproof halving fire damage and levitate resisting ground attacks, the latter being more the more desirable of the two since it gives full resistance to one type while the other only half. Combine that with the fact that Bronzong can learn Earthquake and you have a deadly combo.

^Thats what i like about platinum too, the move changes. Also Bronzong is easy to beat with a good fire type. I lost my first time against Lucian myself, until i got lucky and flamethrower from my infernape hit for a critical hit.
Im training some pokemon in Diamond and i dnt know what my last pokemon should be to complete this team:
Lapras
Noctowl
Mightyena
Arcanine
Sceptile
Also in platinum i'm using
Torterra
Infernape
Empoleon
Gengar
Staraptor
Luxray
I'm wondering if this is a good moveset for Torterra:
Crunch
Woodhammer
Synthesis
Earthquake

It depends on what you want to add to your team. My suggestion would be a good ground type, but as to which one, It depends on what you want to add to your team. If all you want is power, go for Rhydon/Rhyperior (its Power Down ability is awesome... except for maybe a Hydro Pump from Milotic or something.) If you want speed with that, maybe choose Dugtrio? I used Probopass (Rock/Steel) in my team, and he has good defense as well as a good use of Rock and Electric moves, if that's also in your interest. If not, an Electric or Dragon type should work as well.Lapras

See this is why I'm loving some of the move changes in Platinum. Ponyta is finally a viable fire type to choose instead of getting stuck with Chimchar or well... nothing at all. Giving the fire horse Flame Wheel (physical type to go with Ponyta's higher attack stat) means you are no longer stuck with more useless moves like Ember and... sigh, Fire Spin.
I never really thought about Thong Song, I mean Bronzong that way. I may just try that. I also found out that when Ponyta evolves into Rapidash, you can go to the Heart Scale guy and trade one in to teach it Poison Jab or Megahorn (in Platinum, anyway). I find that very impressive!

I can't recall where Larvitar can be found, but I do know that you need to use the Poke Radar for it. As for your team, you might need some defense to balance out all of that power on your side. If so, consider Umbreon, one of the Regis (Regirock, Regice, or Registeel) or maybe Aggron if you still want more power. A grass type might help out as well like Leafeon, Shiftry, Cacturne (really good in or out of a Sandstorm), Venusaur, Breloom (if you love fighting) or even Abomasnow just to put more ice in your freezer. If you're lucky enough (sort of) to get a Spiritomb, then go all out!INFERNAPE Lvl. 61
