I'm currently using the Dark contrast along with the 10th theme and I cam to notice that it's rather hard to make out the outlines of the text boxes. A suggestion that I have is to have a white outline instead of a blue outline for this theme.
..... or maybe you could add the MAX2 theme? pretty please?

That works too, but I prefer the MAX2 theme as it would probably be easier to make.
Bump: I tried searching for a song under the IIDX database and it didn't work, so I manually looked it up and pasted the name onto the search engine and it still said that no results were found.

Quick idea, would it be possible to see something like... the 5 most recent threads that someone has created?

Doesn't work any more due to the database restructuring that happened. Planning to restore at some point.Quote: deliriousXD

Not possible without a huge toll on the database for the moment.Bump: Almost forgot, View Entrant (old version) and Battle pages are back on the DDR score tracker.

"ARR JOO LEADY??" |
I'm not sure if this isn't v.6-level material instead, but I did have a wacky dream about a site revision. It looked kind of red/SuperNOVA-ish; but the most distinguishing thing I noticed was that there was a FFR-2 kind of interface in one feature; where each user could configure a custom 40-song "group" of simfiles that were directly playable on-site, along with a few configurable and a few circumstatial courses.
The "Game Over" cycle would result in looping back to the "group select," where you could choose from one of their friends' songgroups ("they" from the past session), or cycle back to your own group, at any point. This included accessing one-anothers' edits, as well. Switching gameplay mode like Single/Double/6-Panel was as simple as switching difficulties or an option; and there were a fair number of noteskins too (including that anybody could access one customized noteskin, ala "Paint Mode" - simply by uploading and rotating a default "up" arrow - "colorization" was a different/seperate option).
Not only that, all this linked back to a copy of the Score Tracker, as well; which also assessed a "Dance Level" for each user, based on their top playthrough of the last seven days. These "levels" were simply a sum of the difficulty-ratings of each chart, times the number of "A"s on it (5 L10's x "AA" = Lv. 100 ...or was it double-points for "Oni Mode?"). Extra/Encore stages allowed a choice between the most popular L10, L9, and L8 (old-scale). It also did a similar interface for a IIDX sim like BBR as well; but I think that came later, as it had less (and often, lower) scores on it. (The GitaDora interface was just that, reskinned, and with circle-slash-star targets, like it had GH/Freq/Amplitude features in it, too).
And a "virtual session" manager - not exactly a "realtime" multisession, but that each user's latest 1-3 performances in each game were psuedo-saved (IE: late/on-time/early/"extra"; timing judgements) and could be competed and played along with; focusing on users' buddy lists. They had to be online still; so I think it may be cookie-based. So if it was an instrumentation game, the notes of the other player would play "off" just as though they were still playing.
Scoring was rather simplified, though. Apart from OK/NG's, "Soft" scoring was as simple as "Great/Good/Miss," and totally combo-oriented; while "Hard" scoring was just "Marvelous/Perfect/Great/Miss," and more technical/timing-oriented. "Great" was like the break-even, there.
And finally, added to the results screen was "screen mail" - basically, you could send a message/reply to a user that would show up on their next results screen, and would receive those sent to you then, too.
I have crazy dreams like that, though. ~.~

The tracklist scrolls up, along the side - so as to work, regardless of the number of songs present. Obviously, boss level songs = red; and then challenge-featuring stages = blue, but the gold = a custom target (in this case, *
= 9).

Okay, so it's not *exactly* what I had in mind, I just threw a quick, generalized idea of the GUI in paint. (I haz no fotoshoppe!)
But you can access quick-touch frequently used/changed options with the numerical (main keyboard!) keys. #4 is *just* colorization, btw. #7 and #9, is something similar-but-different is used (like Brake, or Alternate), these will show yellow lights instead.
There's an "auto-banner," colors determined by a song's BPM usually; but it's overlapped with a Custom Banner when associated with it instead - this way, if some players want to focus on songs/steps, and less on artwork, their mix won't necessarily "suck" that way. Auto-slash-Custom BG's work similarly, too.
The "groove radars" are:
Green = Freeze
Light Blue = Air
Dark Blue = Stream
Red = Chaos
Yellow = Voltage
"Hard" just above them refers to the timing/scoring system (Soft/Hard/Free). The top score display alternates between displaying all-time best, today's best, and your best.

I think people should just switch to either IE 7 or FireFox. Or Safari.
Anyways, the new beta is cool. I do like the Top Navigation on Style I better though.

Nothing for the Winamp browser users? :C
...just kidding, but anyone in the earth would be using it...
well, in fact, I just wanted to ask a couple of questions:
-What kind of fonts you can use here?
-Could you allow to view our sent PMs and be able to edit them before the addressee read them?
that's all :/
PD: actually using winamp browser xD

Overall, the new design's pretty cool. I like the Trebuchet font on the first 5th style though, so if you want to change it back to that instead of Arial, that would be nice.
And another idea:
How about attaching files to posts? I've seen that a lot in other forums.

I disagree, I prefer Arial or Verdana for a screen font. I'm not that keen on Trebuchet myself.
Though, one could pull a 90's internet and use Times New Roman everywhere with underlined links for EVERYTHING. XD

You can use whatever fonts you like on 5.2, just set the font bit in your User Option.-What kind of fonts you can use here?
-Could you allow to view our sent PMs and be able to edit them before the addressee read them?
Can't you just use the Preview feature before sending it off? It's like asking to edit e-mails that have already been sent!

Don't see a direct need for this yet, for now just use regular file sharing sites like megaupload or rapidshare.Quote: uguisumode

I'm playing around with stuff at the moment. And besides, not every site has to be 100% width.
