yeah so anyways,
this album is pretty good. And sacrificing my user rating for speaking the truth i will say that the nekomata master album was a major disappointment/travesty and fans of beatmania iidx HAVE to be in denial to say it was good. Who wants rehashes and generic copy/paste extensions of the tracks when we could get new material or different interpretations? After listening to the cd i felt like i listened to the same song over and over(but then again, most of nekomata's songs sound too similar to begin with).
Okay, i admit that the raindrops songs were good on the neko cd, but other than that the cd was pretty much garbage. (my favorite nekomata tracks weren't even on it either which made it worse: satellite020712 from coded, infinite cave, chain of pain, queen's tragedy).
The zektbach cd is just what i expected from tomosuke. He avoided the cliche copy/pasting that bemani artists love to do so much and actually made the cd interesting.

Um ok? The point I was getting at if you conitnued to actually read my post was basically that both Zektbach's music and Nekomata's are genres I don't normally listen to. Album-wise, I totally agree. Nekomata definitely should have put some of his dnb stuff on and his album would have been so much better. Ristaccia was pretty good, but it's so different from a lot of the other stuff I listen too.

I'd like to see taka, kors k, ryu and other artists remix some of slake's bemani material considering they'd ever let him do an album like milestone, denjin k, or synthesized

No no, I see exactly what Xepher is saying. I thought the same thing. Hell, when putting in song genres for iTunes, Aria te'Laria got OVERWORLD because that's exactly what it sounded like: the music for on overworld map in an RPG game. Also, that's the music they used for the map on the Zektbach website, although It's a different version.
It makes sense, depending on how much you play RPG games and actually pay attention to the music.
