i dont dislike the steps or the other bpm changes, i just dont like that pause, it seems unprofessional
say i were to put it on an SM machine, i'd sort out the pause to be shorter & add an extra step in, i'd also do the same with flourish, on the break & uranus.

Yeah, I like the pause in Flourish because it's dead silence, so why not? I don't like the one in On The Break though.

I know. Hence why we have the DMX mix (and that God-awful remake from Full-Full Party / X2).This also affected lots of other songs in classic Beatmania. For some reason the opposite is true in IIDX, where a lot of songs go over 2 minutes - pretty much a no-no for DDR. It was shocking for me when Nemesis and Something Wonderful broke that rule.
Getting back on topic, I also give a tip of the hat (Colbert please) to Tracers (4Beat Remix). Inspiration and Take A Chance are not quite as bad as the previews would have you believe. And A Geisha's Dream's lyrics can get pretty stupid, callbacks to Butterfly notwithstanding. (Actually, for me that almost makes it worse.)

Song owns, chart own, but I agree, the beginning need that one extra arrow. Same with Uranus, etc.
