Anime Recommendations?

They're all in the same grade, just that Kagami (long purple hair) is in a different class from the other three. The only exceptions are Yutaka, Minami, and Hiyori, who are two grades below the rest of the girls.

BTW, I actually liked Lucky Star's dub, just as much as the Haruhi Suzumiya dub, as it uses most of the same cast.

Anyone who hasn't watched Welcome to the N.H.K. yet (and isn't easily offended by explicit language or subjects) should go to justdubs right now and watch it. Just saying, as it is funny, dark, and overall a great anime.

It's all about a hikikomori (a person who has completely shut themselves off from society) and how he lives his life, meeting old friends and new characters.

Wow I never knew their making Keroro Gunso dubbed...sweet I want to see Bokurano in English too.

I think they should redo Higurashi in english (I didnt like the dub of it as much) & Sonic X (yeah they edited the hell out of it) For some reason I was on Viz Media page & on the shows page, Sonic X was in it, sooo are they remaking it? No idea. IDC about the voice actors (their never gonna change) but I just dont want them to edit it really bad like 4Kids did & not kid friendly like how they did

So I started watching Seto no Hanayome.
Mermaid yakuza sounds ridiculous, yet I'm really enjoying the show.

I'm gonna watch this after I'm done with Witchblade. I have both series backed up to DVD.

For now, I just started watching Hayate the Combat Butler Second Season, after starting late on the first...

It's a great anime, I enjoyed it a lot! (even though I have just seen the first season of it xP)

Toradora I liked, mainly because the female lead here, personality-wise, is similar to the one in Shakugan no Shana, minus the sword. Coincidentally, they happen to be voiced by the same actress.

Soul Eater I might give it another chance. For some reason I couldn't get into it before.

In case you're inquiring, Toradora is 25 episodes long, while Soul Eater is 51.

You know, after Naruto Shippuden turned to trash, I've yet tot get hooked on a new anime. Just not been in a anime mood lately I guess.

The lack of Hagi in the trailer is disappointing. (Unless this live action movie is based on the movie that comes before Blood+, canon-wise)


Welcome to the NHK is a good series. Some parts will be "WTF" moments, but those are explained either at the end of the episode or at the beginning of the next. The only thing I hated awas that they changed the opening song. For the first half it has the song with the trumpet. They remixed it so that they removed the trumpet and placed a guitar instead.


I'll be looking for a dub of this one as soon as I'm done with Lucky Star. It's been far too long that I've gone without watching this one.

It's a remake of that movie...

Right now, Shippuuden is up to the part where Sauce-Gay just absorbed Orochimaru and is about to recruit his crew.

Still great after all these years. Waiting for the manga reprint to be released sometime this year, 'cause I can't find any of the original volumes.

So it is indeed the remake of that movie then. I still need to find a dub of that movie.

It all makes sense now in Lucky Star. The purple-haired girls are fraternal twins
