It's not "pretty much confirmed" at all.

Yeah, Konami would definitely leave a blank space in the difficulty area. Then again, they could easily just remove the empty space...

But with RDa in it would seem weird not to have Challenge, but this is KONMAI after all.

But they haven't come out with it, so we have no idea whether it's going to happen. Personally I'd like to see it not happen so you have egg on your face.

People keep saying this, and I keep thinking the same thing--what would be the point of that? After all, U1 showed the RDA teaser as a whole "What could this be ooh ahh the mystery" type situation, and if the songs it contains comes out of left field, not only will newcomers be confused at the RDA feature, but certain veteran players would be confused at which songs it contained--I know I'd be kinda pissed if I saw that they had, like, Crazy Love or some new terrible jun boss song in RDA where they could've just as well put in Shiny World or Pierce the Sky. Possession bodes well for the latter, IMO, but it would be a bit irrational to confuse everyone. After all, you stand in the middle of the road, you get hit by cars going both ways, right?

It'd be cool to have new things, that's what's cool, Maestro.

In my opinion, RDA is meant for those 7 X2 songs. The RDA folder isn't a new concept, as new Beatmania IIDX had their own boss folders on their respective games. Do you think they'll change their boss songs in their respective folders for the console versions?

No.

The fact of the matter is we really don't know. For all the information we've gotten over the past week we still haven't confirmed a single song since E3.

We must wait patiently for the game until it comes the day before my birthday/Thanksgiving day in Canada.

For come information, it'll come before we hit a step.

Well, with it slated to be released in October (Gamestop has it as October 11th for hopefully trusted reference) We should be getting some info sooner or later. As far as RDA goes, i wouldn't mind having a couple new songs at most, but if they would keep the majority of them intact, i would most appreciate that.

Like Pie said, hopefully, when the Facebook page gets 200,000 likes (just 1450 more likes to go), we'll get some info. If were lucky, we might even get a default songlist like we did last year

Well, I listened to all the RDA songs. POSESSION is the only one I really like. D: They all sounded good, though, so I hope those songs are in the game.

I have my wishlist, i know you all have yours. But if we're going to take some songs from X2. Going up please?

The American DDR releases recently have all been one game ahead of Japanese games in terms of KO's. So we're probably gonna see at least 20 new KO's if not more given it's quite a nice amount on the list. I do hope for some X2 KO and licenses and we'll probably get a few. I'm also hoping for a reasonable license list. I don't care about top 40 stuff but I'm tired of 70's and 80's novelty songs like Dancing in the Street and Venus. My opinion.

I think the new KO's are gonna be in DDR X3 vs. 2ndMIX, so technically we're getting X3 songs, but as opposed to Licensed songs, I'm hoping we get at least a few Japanese songs, hope we get only my railgun and Super Driver...

Super Driver would be nice, and i would lose it if Only My Railgun got included

Kind of strange that the PS2 can do fullscreen video, but the Wii can't. Unless theres a huge chunk of videos in the game. I still think it would have been better to just have Dancers or do what they did with the Terra stages in earlier Hottest Party titles instead of just place the camera on a small video.

Well, DDR II is using both short and long versions of songs, which means short and long music videos which eats up a lot more disc space than just 1:30 long music videos.

Same here, considering Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 was dubbed and released on DVD like...A couple months to a year ago.
And we're supposed to get a dubbed version of A Certain Scientific Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun. So OMR could be a good promotion for it.

There are probably more licenses this time around compared to the previous PS2 game as well as using videos for the RDA songs (within the stages), AND there are a considerable number of songs compared to previous PS2 games.
