Maybe the lower difficulties.



This doesn't have any crossovers. :/ This should probably be a 6 footer but that's just me.

I can name quite a few charts without crossovers and they don't force double stepping either.

Oh, so to avoid awkward double stepping you also need to avoid crossovers? No, not necessarily. Even high level charts (especially in 2013) have been really well stepped. Here's just a few:

Another Phase
Beautiful Dream
FUNKY SUMMER BEACH

And these are just singles examples. There's a lot more on doubles that can be alternate stepped start to finish without forced spins or anything.

All four variants of roppongi EVOLVED - are pretty good, though each has at least one crossover/spin/double step. Doesn't stop them from being 4 of my favorite charts in the entire series.

Honestly, is double stepping that much of a criminal stepfile offense? As long as it's not too fast I don't mind it that much.

If you want no offensively fast doublesteps, Anti-Matter /, POSSESSION (NOT , oh god not that one) and EGOISM 440 only have doublesteps in the quarters and not the actual streams, while all being really hard charts.

Getting back to DDR A, Night of Nights is a pretty cross-over free stream 15-footer as far as having no really dumb crossovers at high speeds (there might be a few double steps in the eighths - I haven't checked thoroughly).

OMG 黒髪乱れし修羅となりて～凛edition～ yess!!!!! I've been waiting for this song to get on DDR for a very long time. hooray for new songs too. Will definitely have to try them on my next trip.

Some mind it more than others. And yes of course, it depends on speed. As long as there aren't too many of them, they're not that offensive. For the few that do exist, I can generally tolerate them as long as they're below 250 BPM quarters.

POSSESSION 's steps 312 and 313 (down and left arrows) are a bit fast in my opinion, although that's just my taste.

That chart has something close to a variant of Afronova walk steps near the beginning if you attempt to step it alternately. It's far from crossover free. I see quite a few spots where players are expected to slide their feet. Step 77, step 265 (unless you wish to spin), step 317, step 346, and step 417. This is probably enough to scare at least a few people from actually performing crossovers.

I would assume it's the Vocaloid version. If it were the Eruna version it would have her as the artist instead because that's what Beatstream did.
