I've seen spambots attack, but this is on a whole new level. Sounds like we better start putting some kind of captcha in for new members or something. This is a bit insane.

This has happened in the past a couple of pages back. Some bots kept spamming something about indian love potions or something and it went on for an entire day. Al2k4 had to literally block India as a whole from ZIv to get it to stop.

Those poor North Koreans aren't allowed to have fun on CABE9.COM . . .

Three spambots all at once, with about 30 posts each.

I deleted the first layer, saw the ones beneath and actually screamed.

Alan, if I can have a "Delete All Posts By User" option that would be AMAZING, thanks. Even a checkbox-based bulk delete option in the forum list or something. Either way, there's gotta be a better system that click-delete-click-delete.

I suggested that back when those indian love potion bots were spamming but it appears as though it hasn't been implemented. :/

Oh, I'm not even halfway through this shit yet, and I really should be working my actual job :/

EDIT: It's done. It took a lot less time than I thought (it's about a 5-10 second process to delete a thread), but oh wow doing 60 in a row or whatever is so not a fun way to spend 10 minutes of your life.

Gonna check out AbuseIPDB to see if there's any history with this attack.

EDIT: Didn't find any reports on these IP's, but I could at least say that three came from Korea, and one from Turkey. Gotta love that Korean Turkey, yum yum. (I.E., looking the IP's up didn't really do much)

I vote for an IP ban on the spambot.

Maybe ban entire Korea for a week, too, or better yet: TWO weeks.
