The average Joe won't be able to unlock all the songs in DMM, did they really intend that mode for EXPERT players?

They wanted us to play the game and not unlock things as fast as we did in other games...
2 days to beat the game.
This and Max were the fastest to unlock things. (Cuz I had time)

Played roppongi as usual and it started changing to different versions.
It fucked up my dancing.
But it was cool to hear.

Thing is, even if you have patience in DMM, the average Joe wouldn't be able to do those missions nonetheless.

Exactly... It's not like getting a perfect combo or 115/121 maroluses is something an average ddr player can do

Hardest master mode ever I think lol.

Like i said, they created DMM to give you enough time on the game until the next PS2 game comes out...well, what would be my guess

It's (slightly) better than 500 songs to unlock EVERYTHING in DDR MAX US, and even then, you still HAVE to fail a song to unlock Celebrate...

Celebrate had the best unlock congrats text of any song. XD

I just wish the had the Information page just for the songs and artists like they did for X, i would like to know some background on some of the songs/BOSS songs for the game...

Ugh, these missions are so difficult. There are two similar ones that pissed me off:

LEVEL 5, What Will Come of Me, BASIC, Get 98 MARVELOUS!! or more, there are only 103 steps in the chart.

LEVEL 4, Tierra Buena, Beginner, Get 55 MARVELOUS!! or more, there are only 65 steps in the chart.

And I love how a Level 6 mission was When I Grow Up expert, and all you had to do was full combo it on 1x dark. I guess Konami thinks that MA'ing is really easy compared to the incredibly difficult DARK MOD


And I'm going to not even attempt that one mission that says get a marvelous full combo

I'm on Konami's side when it comes to how long it takes to unlock all the songs. When you beat it in just 2 days it gets boring quick, but when you have something to play for then it stays interesting and you feel better at the end of each accomplishment instead of the still kinda good but dying feeling of beating a song that you've played over and over because you love it but in fact you loved it to death without realizing it.
