Overall (with the exception of one or two licenses) This game looks to be VERY well put together.

Watch the Fatboy Slim song be either Praise you,Gangsta trippin or Right here right now.

The Moby songs from that album that could fit would be Bodyrock or Southside.

*ahem* No Broadjam contest this year. They would have most certainly launced it before the games were announced. It's not surprising. It's quite clear that DDR's focus this year is popular, well-known songs. By the way, I hope with all this money they're spending on DDR, they do some ADVERTISING.

Enrique Iglesias? Nice. I hope it's "Just Wanna Be With You" but I got a feeling it'll be "Do You Know (Ping Pong Song)" or maybe even "Rhythm Divine". I'm hoping it's the former though.. That would be great.

Seriously, this license list is looking REALLY solid! I'm sure we have the HP series to think for that.

Oh and darn, it is "When I Grow Up" for PCD...

No idea what the Duran Duran song will be. Nite-Runner was a really good license in HP2. The cover was REALLY well done and definitely one of the best in the game.

And yeah, I'm willing to get Alice Deejay's "Better Off Alone" is one of the hidden licenses. At least I REALLY hope so. That would be sweet. I have such fond memories of that song when it first came out on the airwaves.

Bonafide Lovin' sounds like a great song and definitely a good pick. Some of the songs on the license list I've never heard of (e.g., Dream on Dreamer) but after hearing some of them, I can see them working really well.

Any other speculation on what the other license could be? Or at least, what are some of you hoping for? I'm hoping to be surprised one last time (many of these really HAVE surprised me!) and I'm hoping it's a song I'd love to see like... I dunno... Waterfalls by TLC, a Justin Timberlake/Michael Jackson song or something. There would be a lot of songs I'd love to see but I'm just still really happy EW&F got chosen. (And no, I would not want Cascada.) Don't forget that one site cited that they thought they saw a Britney Spears song but that could be confused with My Prerogative? If not and she really is in, Toxic could get in. Either way, it wouldn't really matter to me because this license list is already very impressive and really balanced.

EDIT: I could be wrong actually. Duran Duran's album was also titled Rio, and there are at least 2 well known singles released from it: 'Rio' and 'Hungry Like The Wolf'. So, technically I guess we can narrow it down to those 2 songs being the DDR track, though the album did have 4 singles released in the early 80s. So, place your bets...which of these 4 songs from the Rio album could be the song for this year's release:

1. My Own Way
2. Hungry Like The Wolf
3. Save A Prayer
4. Rio

Well, I have Rio by Duran Duran... In my opinion, none of these songs fit DDR at all:
1. "Rio" – 5:33
2. "My Own Way" – 4:51
3. "Lonely In Your Nightmare" – 3:50
4. "Hungry Like the Wolf" – 3:41
5. "Hold Back the Rain" – 3:57
6. "New Religion" – 5:33

I could be wrong, but the only song worth putting on here is either "Rio", "My Own Way", or "Hold Back the Rain".

hmm... i know this contradicts what i just said about rock music in DDR, but i could TOTALLY live with rio in DDR

also, thinking about it, the reflex was one bad ass fun to play chart, so maybe rock music in DDR isnt TOO bad, i still dont think anything off of destroyer fits though... maybe dynasty(i was made for lovin' you, anyone?), but not destroyer. maybe konami will go left field on this one, revive a bunch of slow songs(every day, every night plz) and license beth and make another road of slow :p

Well, the KISS album in the video is definitely Destroyer, and from what I've looked up, that album had 4 singles released, too. So the choices from there are:

2. Flaming Youth
3. Detroit Rock City
4. Beth

well yeah, i'm not arguing it was another CD, just saying that i was made for lovin' you is an infinitely better choice for a dancing game than anything off of destroyer. destroyer DLC for RB or GH on the other hand would be epic.

yeah, i know what the singles on it were. flaming youth and beth were the B-sides, like i pointed out earlier, the "throw away" tracks. KISS themselves referred to those songs as that. beth was a "throw away" that ended up stealing a lot of spotlight from the A-side on the same single(detroit rock city), and while flaming youth is popular among KISS fans it didnt do anything as the B-side to shout it out loud. like i said eariler, the 6(yes, 6) logical choices from destroyer in terms of song popularity are detroit rock city, king of the night time world, god of thunder, shout it out loud, beth, and do you love me.

my money is still on shout it out loud. detroit rock city and king of the night time world probably wont let the game keep its E rating, god of thunder is probably too "dark", do you love me is a hit but i just dont see it happening, beth isnt danceable.
