New page, new topic.
I'll be going to be on Xbox LIVE this Saturday Afternoon just for that day. Dunno the exact time, but roughly around 1 PM to 5 PM EST. This will be the last 48-hour trial card for now until I get an ISP in my house.
Anyways, I'll be available if anyone wants a chat Saturday Afternoon Eastern Time Zone, but I won't be on long.

"Nature: Naughty" |
Okay, ever since my workplace started blocking most of my favorite worksafe sites, I've found myself browsing Amazon more and more lately, and I'm convinced that doing so is the worst form of self-torture I've ever put myself through, because I keep wanting to buy up everything I see, yet a few things keep stopping me...
- Cost. Case in point: Hidamari Sketch soundtracks. I've wanted these things for a while now. Now I've finally noticed that there's actually a way for me to get ahold of a copy, but HAHAHA 62 DOLLARS FOR AN AUDIO CD WHAT THE DICK
- Size limitations. Everyone on this site should know by now that I'm a sucker for anime merchandise like figures, wallscrolls, artbooks, etc. I've noticed a few vendors on Amazon that specialize in wallscrolls and I've found a few different designs I like. However, all of the wallscrolls I currently have in my apartment are about 32" x 42" (or 42" x 32" in landscape) and most of the ones I'm interested in have some goofy dimensions like 16" x 21". It doesn't matter how awesome the design on them is, if you have walls full of large wallscrolls and you suddenly start speckling little midget scrolls everywhere, it looks a bit tacky.
- Again, cost. I've been interested in this Morrigan statue for quite a while. It's pretty hot, and at 18 inches tall, it dwarfs even my largest figure, which at the moment, is a Yuki Nagato that stands about ten or eleven inches tall. This would look pretty damn awesome in my collection but o hay $165 yea thats reasonabl
I'm totally getting this Kagura, though. No question. IM A MADMAN YOU FUCKERS CANT STOP ME
APPEND: Holy balls, CDs, Kagura, and Morrigan cost $329.07, with Morrigan herself providing just cents over half of that total. I hurt so bad right now.

I'm not a big fan of browsing for items, online or in store. For me, it's like: Oh hai here's something I can't afford, and oh hai! something else I cannot afford.
I already have a queue of items that I'm planning to purchase. Window shopping just makes it longer
Side: Just woke up from a nap I decided to have. Why the heck do I feel more sleepy??

It's not that I don't have the money, it's that I don't want to spend that much at once. Found the Hidamari Sketch CDs at half the price on Play-Asia, though. Helps cushion the blow a bit.

I was more referring to my case actually
Also your work internet filter reminds me of our school filter: anything that would be considered remotely entertaining is blocked. Ours even block certain web searches. Although I found some holes in the security. The biggest one being able to access TF2Chan (a TF2 branch of 4Chan) at my school.

Thought i would drop this article about 100 Yen: the Japanese Arcade Experience Trailer.
Very interesting, though it needs help with funds and junk.

That's a lot of math. If I was presented such a math problem, I would make a silly mistake on one equation on the first half on the first page thus affecting me on everything after that. I'm known for doing those things.

Speaking of Math, I have finally figured out the key to success in my chemistry course. Doing all your homework = success.

also, I encountered a problem that appears algebraic in nature, but its solution involves no equation. It was...
Quote
C(2n, n) = C(n, 0)C(n, n) + C(n, 1)C(n, n-1) + ... + C(n, n)C(n, 0).
Prove it.
Prove it.

I approve of this statue, and the Sakaki one, and the Osaka one. Too bad they didn't have a Yomi statue. However, I find it weird the Amazon.com people translated "Azumanga Daioh" as "Great King Azumanga" (yes, I know it's the literal translation).
