I would also like to point out also that THEME FROM ENTER THE DRAGON is honestly the most broken song I have ever played. Any hope to ever AAA all of 4th Mix/4th Mix PLUS has just flown out the window.
You want to challenge that? Because in EXTREME USA its fairly on sync.As for unique stuff, one song from the Club Mixes ちょっときいてな(ZANSHIN-NA-MIX) was cut off after it debuted in the Link version. It was never seen from again and it wasn't transported to one of the CS DDR Club Mixes.

It's been a long time, but from what I recall, on 5th, just think early. Very, very early. And then use Sudden + Flat for good measure.
I just looked up when I played that song (at the arcade), and now I feel kind of nostalgic, but more in a freaked-out-that-it's-been-that-long rather than a good way.

- Boys play on the left, and girls play on the right!
While probably just a statistic, I can definitely say it's not always the case, my first DDR game (and every game since) I've played on the right pad

It's just a weird design quirk that they created the games around.
In early games, the left side player can only choose male characters, and the right side player can only choose female characters. In IIDX, a very small handful of songs have different vocals or lyrics depending on which side you play on. The left side gets a "boys version", and the right side gets a "girls version".

Uh, the subtitles might be called GIRLS REASON/BOYS SIGHT, but either way they are both female singers with English and Japanese versions.
I don't think which side you play on determines which version you get.

Some songs in beatmania did have alternate versions if played on 2P side (like OVERDOSER and 20, november) but they certainly had nothing to do with a girls or boys side. But this was never the case in IIDX, as far as I remember. Just alternate Anothers.

Actually the "2P" versions require two players (not using BATTLE option) or one player on Double in order to play the 2P version. I believe single player on the right side still gives you the original versions.

Well it does not matter what character gender I use. I somehow keep using the 2P side for the more sensitive AC mats or Controller Settings for the CS. Since I used to pick Emi a lot, I might play some Rage for some time. I also found out that 3rdReMIX mode on 3rdMIX CS allowed players to use characters of the opposite gender, as if 1P can use Emi instead of needing 2P.
In the Dreamcast versions, pressing the analog joystick (or the KONAMI logo button on the dance mat) at the Play Mode Select screen takes you to the Character and Arrow Skin select screen, but 1P gets to use the altered females and 2P gets to use the altered males. 1P is needed for normal males and 2P is needed for normal females, like in the arcade originals.

But Gabe's AgentP's announcer pack is interesting, and this thread is for interesting things, like AgentP's announcerpack, which is chock full of interesting things like racism and unwarranted hate on Canada.
Interesting!

Guys, aren't you supposed to talk about something about DDR characters? This thread is for interesting DDR facts, not user-specific things. Read the title.

Don't be so modest! You made a super-cool announcer pack! With ripped-off jokes and profanity covered up by obnoxiously loud censor beeps!
And that's interesting!
And that's interesting!
