I did not expect this song xD!.
Now I'm absolutely sure that DDR selects their cover songs from principal versions, HYNBM from DDR 1st Mix, Cartoon Heroes from DDR EXTREME, LONG TRAIN RUNNIN from SUPERNOVA (there is another version in DDR MAX 2), and the next could be some song from DDR X2 or X I guess.

I'm pretty sure it's the bus stop version, it's more popular and they haven't made any implications that these licenses would be selected based on eras like the DDR SELECTION unlocks from DDR A

The Supernova version of Long Train Runnin' is crap, even for a X-Treme cover. Is not the same vibe as the MAX2 version, wich this cover is paying tribute (is the same title font, background and symbol as the MAX2 ver.)

I hope they'll add the rap section, but i doubt because maybe they'll doing the same as CARTOON HEROES (They are remixing the original songs instead of the DDR versions)

Be of BUS STOP or X-TREME, I only hope that It listen well and it doesn't sound bad like CARTOON HEROES cover.

I just wanted to add Justify My Love by Tess to the list of "I hope these show up but probably wont" Licences. I did hunt down Max 2 machines for a long time because of that song alone.

It is the BUS STOP version, the font of the jacket matches the one used on the banner

I guess this means the "one song per era" theory wasn't real and any song could be picked. Still, I hope they choose some songs from the latter eras, maybe even some stuff from the X series (I really love TENSHI but I highly doubt they'd make a remix of that song lol)

The jacket for LONG TRAIN RUNNIN' (20th Anniversary Mix) appears to also reference graphics used in the MAX2 video for LONG TRAIN RUNNIN', further implying it's based on the BUS STOP version.

The logo on Trains shirt is on the Jacket too, would be good if they could have Train as a playable character.

I do the LTR remix in that game was really fucking bad LOL! The rest were bad too. I'll make love to you(Why, just why LOL), Give me up, La Bamba(is it Baha Men or LH Music Creation like make up your damn minds! The Extreme version was the best one), Feels just like it should(the Jamiroqai original wasn't good either LOL) Doesn't really matter(The dancemania speed remix was better than the original IMO) They were all bad and shouldn't have happened. They were MANY better picks in the music world than this crap.

I remember Wookie Wookie. I wish I didn't remember Wookie Wookie, but there you go. A LOVE LIKE THIS was okay too.

i associate love at first sight more with max2 us cs tbh, but honestly most of the supernova licenses were not popular since there's little disscussion around them, partially because they're not known as dancemania songs since supernova is generally considered the first japanese arcade mainline ddr game without dancemania, and alot of them were obscure covers or unappealing genre-wise or sound-wise to the hardcore ddr fans

Actually Supernova 1 was the last AC with Dancemania licenses. The thing is these licenses were not good, except for few songs like CENTERFOLD and A LOVE LIKE THIS, imo.

that's what i was saying, people regard supernova as the first without dancemania licenses since they removed most of the prior ones but it is indeed actually the last one, but people don't know that since SN didn't feature in-game dancemania advertisments and got rid of the labels on song banners indicating the source of the song's orgin
