"Just Play Along"
Quote: Silver Spirit
Well, technically, there are a few; all the Chinese covers from X2 got removed, so the Challenge charts of all those songs now play the original Japanese audio.

I thought those were gone by X3?

the Taj he splitz one .... The camera angles are something worth talking about.
Is a Geisha's dream routines still there? Or is that song removed..
A Geisha"s dream never EVER had a routine in DDR. It had one in DanEvo but not in DDR.

Those were already gone by X3.

^The Chinese versions are still around in DDR X3. Don't know about 2013-2014. Never played 'em.

They were still around on 2014. Not sure for A now.

Bemaniwiki says the following songs has been changed to the original version:

BALLAD THE FEATHERS (羽之谣)
Leaving...
MAX LOVE(功夫LOVE)
Melody Life
虹色

Need confirmation:
iFUTURELIST(DDR VERSION) (不帅之歌(DDR VERSION))
going up

Another video from ZEROWOLF highlighting more returning dance routines from DDR X in DDR A.
Umm hmm... I think one of the charms of the character+stage display was that they didn't have headache-inducing scene changes... but erm, the drunken wonky camera hasn't grown on me, yet. It seems like that triiied to make the dances more interesting, but the Taj he Spitz jerking camera in particular is sort of "whoa." Maybe it's not so distracting when you see it enough... or use the dark(est) filter.
hhhhng zero looks good in that old routine I don't even care much about what anyone says

"Just Play Along"

Last updated: 2016-04-10 06:37pm
I love the Taj He Spitz camera work and dance moves. They definitely beat the boring new "Pan camera one direction slowly, awkwardly stop, change angle, and repeat pan movement" kind of thing, and the old Ultramix dance moves that never seem to go with the song. I don't like when it twists side to side though, in a drunken sort of way like mentioned above, but otherwise it reminds me of back in the 4thMIX days when the camera would spin around the character in a very exciting fashion. I would like it if they reworked the mechanics so the camera moved more like that, and the dance moves resembled those in the choreography for Taj He Spitz, which are much more energetic. It certainly beats those random awkward panning shots of the stage where nothing's going on.

Well, one can hope that all these timing issues will be fixed by the time A reaches North America... unless it becomes like Dancing Stage 1.5 where new glitches are introduced. ;)

You got 19 marvelous and a great. (And apparently, greats earlier in the song too.)

What is the bug? You just can't believe you got a great?

Seems like a programmer failing to account for their edge cases between perfect and marvelous.

That wasnt a glitch that was a CD Read error but still nice to see my video still goes noticed Smile

Also i've been fairly sure for a LONG time now that there's been a great window between marv and perfect. I've often had a string of like 30 all marvelous steps then getting a great then going straight back to marvelous but with no apparent major drifting so maybe it's only just been noticed more widely since the timing has been altered slightly?

The evidence is anecdotal (and thus isn't as reliable), but it's highly suspicious when a play who can do a really good Marvelous Attack gets no perfects, but a few greats - players of this caliber have consistent enough timing that getting multiple greats without getting a hell of a lot of perfects is highly suspect.

And now that the picture of the timing issue has been put to light, it doesn't really matter; his evidence was right.

I agree. If he does not get any perfects, than obviously it is a bug.

That seems like a corrupt data/drive read error. I wonder if it is consistent (like, always happening in the same spot of the same song) or random?

I'm surprised such a huge bug slipped through, even for Konami. Timing issues are death for a rhythm game, so here's hoping shit gets sorted soon.

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

True, most people don't care and at least it's a DDR logo.
Still, it's sort of mind boggling to confuse DDR A with DDR USA unless you really don't care enough to not bother longtime fans who would catch it, or those paying enough attention to expect the DDR A logo. I, for one, am sitting here unsure if they really care about the details, despite them being the glorious Round 1. But new-ish US fans are probably happy to hear "DDR" and "USA" in the same sentence. Yay?

Another thing bothering my nitpickery is they started plugging #DDRUSA when the D&B's been calling it called DDR A. Okay...? Guess that's only as little confusing.

this problem happened first time for me. it very barely happens, but it's critical error for music games.

and I took some video for checking timing issue. Here it is.
