Umm... Umbrella! This song was pretty nice listen to, but not very fun to step, due to it's confusing mix of 12th and 8th note rhythms. The heavy (singles) chart isn't too overstepped in my opinion, and the lower difficulties have a few boring gimmicks snuck in.
Here are my notes; sorry if they seem rushed.

Here are my notes; sorry if they seem rushed.
Beautiful Beachfront Properties- Personally, this song was horrifying, more so than something like Scatman (Extreme Splitter Mix) or F!!KFACE, but thankfully, this song was only a little longer than a minute, and I think that the charts her do this song justice.
Cake House- Good stepping style, much like sister's noise in many aspects.
Flowlight- Pretty good patterns, and pretty interesting jab at a Sana-Mollete Ne Ente chart.
maikaiso-ed STEAMPUNK Frankenstein- I found it surprising that you decided to include the 16th note patterns in a light chart, which few people in the contest have done so far. As for the heavy chart, some parts (namely measures 15-19) could have been stepped differently, but this was still a rather good job with such a strict time constraint.
Mario Kart 8- Both heavy and edit charts were good, but I think that the reason why the latter is considered by many to be better is due to its appropriate use of 24th/32 notes, as well as fully-fledged 16th streams in comparison to the heavy chart, such as the one from measures 19-20.
Porta Vista- Both heavy and challenge charts were good, and the latter has some very nice crossovers.
Remember Remember- Pretty nice chart, and an effective use of mines. There was definitely potential within the non-vocal parts of the song to create a more difficult and interesting stepchart.
So Excited (feat. Khia)- The mines were a little strange, but overall the chart had a lot of fun patterns.
That Don't Impress Me Much (12" Club Mix)- I like the patterns in the heavy chart, except for the end when you decided not to step to the 4th-16th-8th-4th sounds.
The Setting Sun- I think that on the heavy chart, triplets should have been added to the beginning parts to match with the guitar sounds, and that more varied 8th streams should have been used in the section starting at 36, but otherwise this is a good chart.
The Trooper- The stops were far to janky for my enjoyment, and hampered the quality of this stepchart. The stream at the beginning of the heavy chart was definitely fun, as was the guitar parts of the challenge charts, though personally I think that the jumps were completely unnecessary.

It is time.
Aaarrroooooooooooooooo.....
Okay, so.... I was hoping I'd get my own submission for this one (can't wait to see the steps for it, the song is AWESOME), but instead, I got this "hardcore" song (I think brunobg24 submitted this one) and I wasn't sure what to do with it at first.
Meanwhile, Spork!'s Wicked Irie and his explanation for it and how I encountered it inspired me to be more "dynamic" with my files, make a unique experience, even if it's risky. After I reviewed his file and he gave me details on why he did every irregular part, I began working on this, it started out as an average file... then I began playing with Stealth and Dark attacks, and then tasteful BPM effects, and the more I worked on this song, the more enjoyable listening to it and working on it got. In the end, it's possible I'm only going to get a few points for this one, but I'm really proud with how this turned out, so the only thing I can hope for is if you do too.
So yeah, as usual, my 10 footers have something interesting going on with them. But for this one, I decided to add some stylistic warps, disappearing/reappearing arrows, and mood BPMs. I made sure to use them carefully, 85% of the song goes at 222 BPM, the rest either goes at 111 BPM or have nothing going on in them. This dips as low as 7 beats per minute, and then 3 beats per minute at the end. Try and beat it before the contest ends, this file just might have the record of having the slowest BPM. :P

I made sure every gimmick thrown here is readable, and the ones that might not be immediately obvious are marked with mines (stops). I've made sure to full combo this on the numpad before releasing. All difficulties have been checked to make sure the gimmicks work on all of them. Oh, and there are footswitches in this one too (when a specific rhythm breaks).
Do not attempt to play on 3.9 as there is no .sm, and even if there was a 3.9 version, it wouldn't be the full experience. I'll post videos of the charts tomorrow.

I wish I had a veto for this one lol. It's so off from my usual song-choice that I'm gonna admittedly have a tough time making this happen.

And @Nezemarth: even though I have StepMania 5, I choose not to include the .ssc in the zip because .ssc files have annoyed me in the past. If you're using SM5, it'll save a .ssc anyways. Generally I prefer to avoid .ssc files.

What's funny about all of this is that I initially had my own skeleton for Sing ready to send for Round I, but then I got ninja'd by the only other person who I figured would beat me to it lol
