I think I remember it being in lower case during gameplay too? So probably consistency.

Seems like on the menu interfaces they just rearranged the things on it or stretch it. Instead of making graphics for 16:9

The interface is different, but I really like the bubbliness of it and being clean cut (unlike X, how it look trashed up and ghetto/urban)

I personally like the X2 CS interface. The purple and city background looked amazing. And I really liked the super pixelated letter grade =o

But seriously, though, KONAMI has to make the typefaces a little bigger to be seen clearly and to fill out the screen.

I forgot about that. Personally, I think they should switch back, and a heavy line should be placed between MISS and OK, to avoid confusion, like so:

Yeah, I'd like to see OK get separated from the rest too. I remember the times when one of my friends who didn't know DDR would see my results and wonder if those 22 OKs were worse than the Misses >_>

Well at location tests, cameras are outright forbidden, so I don't think they asked them to make crappy videos, I just think that no one was around to see him and holding it in his hand was the only way to keep filming.

Also I welcome the removal of Almost. Getting almosts is actually pretty hard, even on songs which I can't pass because of streams or whatever, each step is either hit or miss with more goods than almosts anyway.

The judgements are now inline with IIDX's now that they have removed ALMOSTs:

JUST GREAT -> MARVELOUS
GREAT -> PERFECT
GOOD -> GREAT
BAD -> GOOD
MISS -> MISS
