Some accomplishment from me this past week.

Lastly, I've been trying really hard to either FC or "AAA" Fascination Maxx Challenge. This is my best so far.


I wonder which will come first, the FC, or the AAA. What do you guys think?

No, I play in Chicago. Yindesu just keeps posting how the pads are garbage at every venue and generally complains about X2 in America in general when at some locations (like Gameworks in Schaumburg) the pads have been working flawlessly and if there ever is a problem it gets fixed almost instantly. We have only has one issue this entire month so far with the pads and I am enjoying X2 a lot so I just don't see why everyone complains constantly about the game. The game is released... Would you rather not have it released? I just don't get it. In North America of course they are going to sacrifice quality because American Arcade gaming is dead and no one would buy a $18,000 machine for any arcade.

Alright so its been a pretty eventful week or so for me. I installed SOLO 2000 on my Doubles machine and finally got it to run by jumping the connectors for the pads before they get into the 573. So thus began me playing one of the worst DDR mixes of all time.

I also got 5 DDR X2 AAA's and 3 DDR SOLO 2000 AAA's today. I'll post them once they are uploaded and my score tracker is updated.

As you can probably tell I am trying to complete as much of DDR SOLO 2000 as I can. I want to try to AAA every song in the game excluding the Nonstop mixes since they are pretty broken.

As for DDR X2 I got most of the songs from this unlock code AAA'd now. I need to still get 888, AFTERSHOCK!!!, Shiny World and Pierce The Sky. I PFC'd the slowdown on Pierce The Sky this time when I played in Normal mode but I couldn't finish the rest of the song perfectly. I also found out in Shiny World I wasn't moving fast enough which is why I have been struggling. I think I can get those songs when I go back next time maybe. I also played VS REPLICANT again today and wow it was just not my day to play that course.

@Skeeter - Glad you got Pierce The Sky and I was able to help you in some way! I wish I was able to explain the slowdown a little better so I could give out tips to a few others but its not that simple

Solo 2000 is annoying as fuck to play on, but I'm sure you could get most of the songs though.

As for Pierce the Sky, my first time playing it on note, I got the slowdown and flagged it in the first 100 steps. Pretty gay. I'm almost done with the X2 folder myself. I need a few defaults, white rose and in love wit you from unlock 1, and 888, going up oni, both leaving charts, melody life oni, sakura storm oni. I have either never played those or only played them once. X2 is somehow still holding up a bit. I feel like the arrows are getting more recessed and the lag is getting a bit worse. It may just be me though.

Alright got the X2 stuff uploaded. I won't have the SOLO 2000 videos uploaded until tomorrow morning so I'll just post the X2 stuff now...

Dude aftershock is so easy. I got that on a sightread. The others are kinda challenging and just love to throw pad stuff at you (or at least on my machine). But you got this. I started working on the X folder today but just wasn't feeling it. I couldn't play for shit. Maybe later this week.

Ya Aftershock isn't too bad. I flagged it today but the problem is that I can barely hear parts of it since DDR SuperNOVA and DDR X are right next to DDR X2. I am sure I can get it next time as I have gotten a lot harder songs PFC AAA'd on that mix already (UNREAL, WH1TE RO5E, and on the bounce to name a few).

I hate almost, if not more, half the song list. I will have to admit though the songs (although a majority of them are awful) almost all of them have amazing charts. Get Up'n Move makes me want to pull my hair out though, that one is like super bad.

I haven't touched a DDR machine in 3 months (and although I touched an ITG machine in the past 3 months once time, I didn't touch the pads lol), so not gonna lie, I am extremely satisfied with my haul today.

Got a ton of black flags and whatnot too, but I blame the pads - although there were no pad goods or misses, I'm still pretty sure I got some pad greats (because after a couple more tries I got consistently get near PFC or get the PFC, although lower than my scores from January-May).

I finally gave up on the SOLO 2000 songs (for now). I got only 4 left to AAA but they all have some problems with syncing they I have yet to figure out. I also went back to EuroMIX2 and got all of the exclusives (except Don't Try To Stop It... What a garbage chart). I gave up on Hypnotic Crisis as I seem to have better luck on scoring when I play on older mixes (weird...).

Decided to switch over to MAX2 to finish up the exclusives before schools starts up next week.

And with these exclusives all said and done I only have 5 exclusives left on DDRMAX2, then I am either going back to EXTREME or 3rd KV2. I am still extremely frustrated with my two blacks flags on GAGAI (or whatever that S#ARP songs is called) and I am angry and seeking revenge!
