Nah it's real, the thing is this is an HD remake of DDR USA, but the song count will be the same.

Seriously though, Round1 PR needs Mark Hansen to handle all things BEMANI since they are getting into DDR Facebook levels of mess-ups.

This would make sense for the US to get a HD re-release since we never did get 2ndMix mode localized. Why couldn't they just do some kind of hidden reveal similar to the X3 vs 2ndMIX? It's not like most Americans know about the original reveal anyway.

Basically DDR A with a "DDR USA" mode that is an HD remake of the 2001 game. It's like X3 vs. 2ndMix.

In all seriousness, I don't even think they'll have a USA mode. If they do any kind of remake, it would have to be from the PS2 era, where most people remember it being on that system.

Let's be honest, if they used the DDR A interface in Dave and Busters, some people would have no idea how to pick a song. If BEMANI is trying to appeal to non DDR players, which they are, then a more simplistic design would be beneficial.

Well, technically, there are a few; all the Chinese covers from X2 got removed, so the charts of all those songs now play the original Japanese audio.

That's amazing. I hated all these chineses versions, specially "Leaving..." and Nijiiro

Konami needs a community manager / PR team. Arcade Heroes just reported on R1's "DDR USA" image.

It sure would be nice if there was an official source of information!!!

Last time Konami hired a PR team, this happened...
