Good God, Nightime... you've got OKs giving 3x the points as Marvs? Let me know how high you can get on something like Queen of Light or The Shining Polaris x-x

maybe they should get rid of the word scale all together and switch to a +/- system. Hear me out:

When you hit a step, a +# or -# will show up showing how late/early you are. The numbers can be to scale ( 0 = dead on, 1 = 64th of a beat off, 2 = 32nd of a beat off, whatever scale you want to use). Lets say a rating of 4 = neutral (no score, no life drain). Then the score can be added to scale as well (0 = 100% of possible score for that step, 1= 80%, 2= 40%, etc). This would make scoring much more precise and your slight variations in step could be much better gauged.

I'd love to know how off I was, but it'd have to have enough visual effects that I wouldn't have to change focus and read the number each time! I think it'd be best as an option, or shown in addition to the judgements.
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!

Hm...

+/- system ?

Sounds confusing for beginner player. Confused

Usually, beginner player doesn't really care about scoring.

They just have fun by playing DDR without Failed.

Konami must think again for beginner player. Confused

I didn't even notice the DDR X2 description they had on the AOU site, duh!

The latest game in the DanceDanceRevolution series appears! Featuring famous Western music, revived songs, famous Japanese music, and many original songs! Stay tuned for DanceDanceRevolution X2, with many new options to play.

hah! So it will have some licenses from X2 US and HP3. I was thinking the 5 or so songs with shock charts would show up.

Just Dance - Lady GaGa is better appear on X2 ARC.

But for revived songs, i think revival licence from DDR home console are best choices too.

Dark Black Forest, Simply Being Loved (Somnabulist) , Musik (Bostik Radio Edit), Doki Doki (Panik Mix), EternuS, etc Roll Eyes

Doesn't neccessairly mean that as SuperNOVA2 AC also advertised "popular western songs".

knit is a retarded name, way more so than ripples, but the theme looks pretty awesome.
Ripples actually had a nice ring to it. Knit has got to be the lamest name for a music game ever.

I'm guessing that "knit" has different non-literal meaning in Japanese. In fact I can see how it would relate to ripple. In English we say "fabric of space-time" and it's perfectly normal. Translate that to Japanese and tell me they aren't laughing to themselves.

I remember a time where I couldn't say "Dance Dance Revolution" without giggling. What an audacious name! Perfectly normal now.

Well, Vocaloid probably but those songs are more likely to be found on JuNEET. Just sayin'.

I'm actually wondering why the song contest winners from SN2 haven't made it to AC yet. They revived all the other licenses for X, so why not Eternus, Beginning of the End etc?
I imagine they would be easier to bring in anyway.

Those are probably the only reasonable licenses to request for.

Not really worth watching, then. Plus it seems that the cameraman spins around during the songs.

Just a couple things from the video

-System music is hard to hear, but seems to be different from X2 US.
-The groove radar is...actually like a radar now! It has a the "sweep" going around it. Watch the video and look at the groove radar, you'll see what I mean.
-CG Project is indeed by Latenighters, not Latenighter like Mess With My Emotions.

EternuS is from the Broad-Jam winner.
I've ever ask bout this to Sanxion7. He said that that song is a 1-year song licensed.

I wonder if this means you can still get a Full Combo after dropping a freeze arrow.
