Alrighty, let's play The Duel!

Both of you will fight against each other in a battle of strategy. The way this works is that both of you will be given a deck of 12 cards, 1-12. Privately, you will each select a card, and whoever has the highest number shall win that duel and some money for their bank. Now, there is strategy in play here, as once you've played a card, you are not allowed to play it again for the rest of the game, so the game is all about second-guessing your opponent, and trying to force him to waste his cards on your weak ones.

Now, scoring. We're playing 12 rounds, and each card you win will earn you $500,000 in your bank. However, only the person who wins the most money overall will actually take their money, with a $4,000,000 bonus on top as well...and if you win 10 rounds or more, I'll double your money, so there's $20m on the table tonight. The loser, of course, earns nothing.


Let's start off with two numbers each. If I can have the two numbers you're gonna play first, through PM or Discord, please. Remember, the order of the numbers you pick is important as well.

I apologise. It's my fault, I didn't consider the rest of the thread when deciding an opponent. I usually do badly on 2-player games anyway so I thought I'll help whoever's in last place to even out the playing field a little. I thought, even if they lose, they're not gonna lose any money, so it can only be a good thing. I guess I didn't consider their feelings and morale.

I'll be more careful next time. Please hang in there!
