I was tempted to make a thread to say some of this but this thread is active enough and on-topic enough for it to work, so here goes:

I joined a suicide forum today. The inspiration came from reading about those two people who made the pact and died in a toxic-gas filled car. I don't know why I joined it but it's not like it sounds: it's more for letting it all out and getting support from people who understand, which I didn't entirely expect but then I never expected anything.

I would just like to say though that NONE OF YOU GUYS NOR THIS FORUM ARE IN ANY WAY RESPONSIBLE FOR HELPING DRIVE ME TO THIS. You've all actually been excellent and for whatever insane reason this is by far the best forum I've ever been a member of. It might be because there just isn't quite enough members for there to be nasty opinionated ones, but I haven't seen a horrible one yet. I just wish that the place was more active, especially for stuff outside DDR.

So I just wanted to thank you all for helping keep me sane and for putting up with me; I know that I'm annoying and moan far too much. I just wish that the rest of the internet could be more like you guys rather than making me feel like I need to defend each and every thing I say or bashing anything I like or enjoy.

I have actually had to ban myself from my two currently most visited forums because it got so bad and believe me when I say that NOBODY should be made to feel like I feel; feeling like your opinion is trash and your a terrible and foolish person just for enjoying something and wanting others just to respect that and leave you alone.

So I just wanted to tell you guys that I appreciate it, no matter what happens.

I just wish I could have had more moments like the one in Skegness when I first met a guy who knew what he was talking about when it came to DDR, was good-looking AND was fun to talk with and watch play. I wish I could have had more interactions like that.
