| Also, with the comment about comparing PRH to PHO and FELMO, the original comment that I replied to was making PRH sound like the hardest song ever. We still have yet to see what PRO is like, and I'm almost certain it'll beat out PHO and FELMO Doubt it. Unless PRO is littered with jumps, it can't be harder than FELMO. PRO could be another FAXXO where more steps are added onto certain spots. The worst thing they could do is make you tap out a few steps in the 800 section. PRO might just be a BS chart. PRE already has steps for most of the beats in the song. Maybe PRO has all of the steps go around the pad at the end starting from the last slowdown? And there is no way PRE is harder than FAXXE. |
We just have to chill until it's fully unlocked. Unitl then, all we can do is guess how hard it is. And who ever said that PRH is harder that FAXXH? We only brought that up as a song that no one seems to have AAA'd yet.

Do that again on SN2, and there's your AAA.

I honestly hate that they changed the grading system so you only need 990,000 points for a AAA. >_< I want my old-timey grading back. That was pretty good though. ;)

A FCP needs to be the only way to get an AAA. An AAA speaks out perfection.

Anyone here know the exact calculations the game uses to give you score in SN2?
I know it was "{[(Perfects*2)+(O.K.'s*2)+Greats]/[(NumberOfArrows+Freezes)*2]}*1000000" for SN1, but how are Marvelous's factored in now that they are enabled on SN2?

Good lord, stop complaining about the AAA, they put that FPC there for a reason. So all the hardcore players wouldn't go "Zomg AAA is ruined!!!11111!!!oneoneone"

I fail to see how a FPC AAA and a SN-and-under AAA is different.
You still have them!

As far as I've seen, the score a perfect gives you isn't very different from what a marvelous gives you, so I'm pretty sure 99.9% FPC's will be AAA's anyway. You should still get a whole lot of marvelous's anyway if you're good enough to FPC a song.
As far as getting AAA's with greats, at least it's now more in line with IIDX and whatnot... or are you just upset because newbies who can only get 3 greats minimum on songs now get AAA's? I wouldn't worry abut that, because it recognizes FPC's.
And at least the marvelous's will add some diversity to score trackers, instead of 30+ obligatory AAA's on most songs, same score, etc., now people can see who had the highest AAA, and who had the (for old time's sakes) FPC's.
I'm not really worried about the new system, not excited about or opposed to it really. I'll just get used to it, which is what we'll all have to do anyway eventually. By the way, still waiting for an answer on SN2 scoring.

Im sorry to ask this question, but when a song is time unlocked, exactly what does that mean?

It means that it is just sort-of randomly unlocked on a given day. Unlike other songs, which are unlocked through events like Zukin Wars and Internet Ranking.
