The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

I got the prize for 1st place at todays DDR tournament.
Does it count as an accomplishment?

I write " got winners prize" instead of "I won" cause I didn`t won.
Tournament was canceled in quarterfinals for what reason ever. I and the other 7 people who were in quarterfinals were really upset and very very angry. Hey. They can`t cancel a tournament with 24 people taking part in quarterfinals!!!!! yes, we were 24! It was my first one with so many people!
*is still angry cause of that*
I really don`t understand why!!!?
And I don`t understand why they gave first place prize to me...
I really don`t feel like I deserve it.

My god, why? It was so fucking stupid!!

Maybe something that I can call an accomplishment:
I got 3 greats on Dynamite Rave on difficult. Would have been my first one that is not on basic.

I`ll go for the AAA as soon as I`ll have the chance to play again.

I still have no Idea why I got 1st prize...but whatever...maybe they thought I`m the best and just gave it to me. I have no Idea.
There were people who didn`t want to enter cause of me...I guess since Dokomi ITG tournament last month they know who I am... LOL
But...as I said, I don`t feel like I deserve it. I want to get 1st prize cause I won and not just as gift cause they think I maybe would have won.

That`s frustrating.

Yeah, there will be others... but I hate it that went like that.
Canceling a tournament that is running for over 2 hours... in the middle of quarterfinals.

My next one is Connichi DDR tournament in September.
I hope I can practice for it...it`s one of Germany 2 hardest tournaments (tournaments with most players taking part and most good skilled players taking part)
Last year I took part at the beginners tournament there and got 3rd...and it was very close...
They allowed me to take part at experts tournament just for fun cause they knew that I wouldn`t win. I was proud that I was at least able to qualify.
Very curious how it will be this year.
This year there won`t be a beginners tournament for me (guess why, LOL) very curious how far I can make it in the Experts tournament!

The Connichi is the biggest event of the year for me.
yeah...really can`t wait till September!

I'll PM you. I'm hardly tournament ready myself since I'm not very good on arcade pads, and I don't practice at arcades with all their synching errors that annoy me, or their limited song selections...

StepMania has me very spoiled, and don't sell yourself short, you sound like an intense player and I'm sure you WON the first place prize and the tournament because you were the likely victor.

Wasn't playing for score and was only having fun with my girlfriend but I cleared End Of The Century for the first time yesterday.
Neither one of us didn't have our phones with us so no "proof" but I don't really care much about that.
I actually had to "bracket" as well as I could to pass it but I did it without even coming close to failing out.

Even got a B on it.
Also play a few rounds of doubles again, I can still clear V (For EXTREME) on doubles after not playing for a year.
I think I'm finally getting back into shape for DDR!

@Kon : That's a lot of new AAA too (even if you didn't posted the last ones in this thread). I was wondering... no drift issues on your X2 ? Because man, you get a LOT of AAA's (and i remember your Unreal).

I played a bit last friday (hmm not this one but the one before, 9 days ago).
Didn't got any new AAA but i was less focused on this lately.

So Bag... is really easy and enjoyable since it's fixed :

I won't be too surprised if i PFC this one someday (but 'ill be really happy, that's a nice 13). First try on X and i got 7. Then still 7, 6 and 5 (this picture).
In the score tracker, i entered my score under the X2 folder. Why ?
Because the bag expert score in the X folder is the unfixed version. I don't want to erase it. Also it will erase my score on bag challenge in the X2 folder.
Konami make it hard to have a perfect score tracker with stuff like this ahah.

That wasn't on purpose at all. A friend got a problem with the arcade button so he couldn't change speedmod. He walked of stage pissed and i jumped in before the song start. I bracket stomped a lot during the fast part. I was so close to failed it and the end.
It proved my poinbt one more time, no offence to some here but... clear something on a DDRX cab means nothing.
And look at my score and my NCs xD

I have the feeling since a while that Jupiter is a bit offsycn after the slowdown. I'm maybe just me but i got 3 greats there (first great after the stop. Can't time it by visual because of lag >.>) and i usually get more greats near the end.
Or maybe it's the the betson cab that is retarded (or me). At least it's not like NGO... imo it's offsync during the entire song >.>

Something unbelievbly rare happened today when I play. I'm curious if this has ever happened to anyone else. In the the years I've played on Extreme this is a first.

Long story short, I played random on extra stage and got ERA. I got 15 greats and a miss (miss was on purpose). Now the rare part is that I finished with 78,000,000 Exactly. The miss I got was because in between the 2nd last note and last note I noticed that score and didnt want to ruin it.

I do have a pic on my phone of it though I haven't tried getting photos off my phone before.

Anyways, has that ever happened to any of you?

Been gone from this thread for a LONG TIME. That doesn't mean I haven't been playing DDR though. I played a lot of X2 and DDR in my garage lately and I just finally decided to come back and post I also have been working on my other arcade machines (mostly drummania) and its FINALLY fully restored.
