You have to use MAX Media Creator and burn the files onto it (use compatible action replay max CD-R's) to put onto PS2. I might not sure but IDK because I never use these for a long time. If I was wrong a litle maybe someone will explain.

I couldn't find any mention of it, but I am seriously wondering what's the point in SN2 to have all the courses in Nonstop and Challenge completely identical.

I mean, back in Extreme it was two separate modes with much different courses, only nonstop could use modifiers and Oni/Challenge could have more than 4 songs per course.

Now in SN2 I don't see any difference other than the fact that one is much harder because of the battery bar. What's the point?

Is it any different on the US/JP arcade versions? And was it the same thing on SuperNOVA 1? SN1 is probably the mix I played the least out of the whole series, might get back to it when I'm tired of SN2...

Something like that, you'll need two things a usb thumb drive and either an action replay or codebreaker. Depending on what you have you download for that system for example, action replay reads .max files, put it onto your usb thumb drive and insert it into your ps2. Insert the action replay disc, and then open up data manager, once thats open you go into the device for the usb and uncrush the save data into your memory card and then you'll have the save file same things apply for the codebreaker.

SN1 CS is the same. The AC versions (SN1 and 2) have seperate courses. I actually like the fact that all the courses can be selected as Nonstop, as I'm not good enough to do some of the harder courses on Challenge.

oh ok, that clears it up, thanks!

also, what about mods? is it exclusive to home versions to be allowed to use mods during a challenge course?

I used to be a big fan of oni courses but a big part of the fun was the "no mod" restriction...

If so, then I guess it's nice that the AC version (both US and JP) still have the same rule set for oni courses, but unfortunately I've stopped going to the arcade when I received my cobalt flux...

Yes, that is exclusive to home version. All challenge courses in the arcade version restricts you to 1x VIVID.

You don't have to use mods if you don't want to though...

Wow, that really helps me out too, thanks. Big Grin

But, those programs-- action replay, codebreaker-- will work on an import PS2, right? Right?

Depends on what region is the Action Replay or Codebreaker that you've got. It has to be the same region as your PS2.

Al2k4, how I can complete the survival of all 84 songs to get the maximum survival information?
Selecting All in Survival level type? Can I try other way?

I would guess that selecting "All" would be the only way to do it, as it would be impossible to get the Groove Radar Specials otherwise.

The Radar Specials are main difficulty.
In survival, full combo is possible in Specials D2R, Dynamite Rave, Brilliant 2U, AM-3P.
B4U not full combo every time (max. 1 battery live failed)
Dead End Special is very harder, I can pass it with 1 live (in my best game I can pass with 2 lives)
Pluto Relinquish Expert/Challenge and NGO Challenge are the other problem.

So hey guys, I was looking around the Konami website and they have a present for you. If you can't read Japanese then just do this:

Go into Options
Go to Graphing options (It's the 5th one down)
Change "ダンサーディスプレイ " to "オフ"
Change "背景の明るさ" to 65%
Change "初期矢印カラー to "FLAT"
Go into Screen Adjustment (It's the second one from the bottom)
Plug in a 2P controller and enter "Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right X"
Now check the shop, and you should have a nice surprise.

If you have trouble, the screen should look like this:

Sure makes you wanna facepalm.jpg, now that we know it was the Konami code, just in some weird setting noone would have guessed on their own, huh?

(I still don't know exactly what it does, I'll go any try it during my homework break. I'm guessing it unlocks the alternate outfits...?)

Okay, so it did unlock the alternate outfits. Big Grin Too bad I could only buy 5 at the moment, haha. Expensive stuff, I'll need 90k points to buy the rest.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEESS! Surprised

I can't wait to go home and do that.

It was the Konami code after all... wow. Although I probably wouldn't have figured out all of that other stuff... it's kinda random. XD

The second one from the bottom is Credits, if you include the Exit option. Just a quick note. XP Not to be a correction nazi, just wanted to say that to instantly dispel confusion.
