I felt this song/chart really represented the theme of the week the strongest. Kind of reminds me of the kind of songs used in Ziv summer contest 2011. Much like the music the steps where kind of interesting but they do get a little repetitive after awile.
I think you had some opportunities to follow the music's odd percussion on some isolated steps a bit closer rather than use 4th notes which sometimes felt a bit oddly placed

Castles on the Moon
mostly nice flow and a good straightforward chart. The gallop section was a nice twist and the step after the freeze felt very instinctually placed.

Chasing the Sun
Not too bad flowwise of a chart. I liked how you broke up things a little by switching to s stream rather than following the lyrics. Even the little things like that one gallop breaks things up a little bit. However, the chart is pretty repetitive like the song.
Considering Salt Skin as well I've noticed a pattern to your files. You tend to find a rhythm to follow in the music and stick with it throughout most of the song. I think you've already realized that a bit with the 8th note stream a bit after the middle in this simfile. However I think what works in instances where the song is repetitive rhythmically is to not follow the song too closely. Take some liberties in your arrows. Some gallops, triplets, etc could have actually worked here. I also question how you used the more "extreme" steps (stream followed by two-8th jumps) in the quiet beginning section. i think that pattern could have been a great pattern to use after the long 8th stream to finish the chart on a difficult pattern.

Ignited Night
I usually really like your simfiles, but this wasn't one of my favorites from you. I do commend the attempt at trying to follow the theme of this week (which admittedly I feel most people really didn't),but I wasn't really feeling the 8th streams followed by yellow notes.

If Alive represents this weeks theme the strongest, this could be seen as THE boss of this week. felt like a 9.

I'm actually kind of glad you didn't follow the song too tightly on because you seemed to pick some of the best elements of the song to follow. blah blah silly people and their insistence that the ITG scale doesn't exist this challenge is an 11 blah blah. However I thought was where the creativity shined most. I liked how the syncopated section switched from following a stepped pattern, would be interupted by jumps and then follow the same rhythm with just different kinds of steps, and surprisingly never resorting to double tapping.

Twelfth Style :
Alright you got me. Actually are you ok, you usually don't follow charts this closely. Did you fall off of a horse? Either way both & are great. However it wasn't that you just followed the song so closely that I liked, but how smoothly the pivoting and crossovers where in these. I never really felt any kind of awkward steps neither, it all just worked rather beautifully, Despite following the song so closely there seemed to be a huge variety of steps even though rhythmically they were very similar. Excelent job on this one.

Wekamui
Its pretty interesting how both of your files Detective Groudon had different approaches and I actually liked both but I could only pick five songs to score, no hard feelings. Nice job considering this song is kind of repetitive. I've seen many step artist make the mistake of following repetetive songs a little too closely and end up following the same rhythm throughout the whole song. Despite the simplicity of the steps they seemed to be full of life.

Interestingly, the same effects wouldn't work on on openITG and SM5, so this is kind of like two different files at once.

-Well, I hope for the best. It's been nice seeing positive reactions to my simfiles, and I'm feeling pumped about getting Pulsar and Trotmania finished because of it.
