U1 also said " I had accepted many kinds of your requests for DDRII.I would like to thank everyone.I can't wait you to play DDRII."
Aww, thanks U1! I can't wait either!
Challenge and Edit Mode would both be amazing. It seems a little overkill with the inclusion of Doubles, full songs, and over 80 songs total. Plus, it's a Wii version. Let's not get our hopes up too much.
Oh, who am I kidding. Speculate and wish like crazy!

I don't care about the boxart. I keep all my games in a plain, transparent CD box. I care more for the content.

Here at Konami, we're going Green by removing the box, the case, and... well everything but the damn disc! C'mon, it's not like you need a map to understand what's going on IT'S DDR! We'll give you a link on our website where you can download a PDF of the game credits.
Copies of the game will be recorded onto plain DVD-Rs from Office Max with "DDR 2" written in Sharpie inside a generic jewel case sealed with a bit of Scotch tape (to prevent theft).
What happens when you're done with the game? Call Konami and we'll USPS a pre-paid mailer for the disc to be sent to us for recycling. Completely free of charge! When the disc arrives, we will collect them in a room until we get enough copies to re-release the game in stores. We will take out our Sharpie marker and write "GREATEST HITS" over the title and sell it at a new lower price for bargain consumers. We are Konami, doing our part for the environment.

Please "like" the DanceDanceRevolution page on Facebook. The page is about 2,000 likes away from reaching 200,000 and they may release a new trailer/details when that milestone comes. I know they've done it for other pages.

I man here went & liked it.
Anyway thanks for the link, I've been trying to look up that page on Facebook for ages.

I clicked the like button ages ago!
also I'm thinking there going to release a bit of information once a week until release. I hope they don't do what they did last year, and released the full songlist, I wish they just surprised us, with just a few songs. like what they confirmed so far, I'm already getting it because of Sky is The Limit, and Poessession.

I know this is going to sound like a very dumb question...but why the heck is everyone excited about this? D8; I tried looking these words up on Zenius's Simfile list (it's what I do to hear songs like POSSESSION), but nothing popped up. I'd love to know more about this if this was making everyone go "AW YEAH".
Also, neat cover art. And 80 songs? D8 Put in Slip Out (bounce in beat mix) please. -hides-

I adore your point of view, Fairy Red. And it's a very important thing for all of us to take note of.
What the hell does this image mean to the majority of the people who will end up buying this game? Probably nothing. Replicant D-action is the Extra Stage system on DDR X2. You have to choose to enter it at the end of your game (should you qualify to access it at all) and once you do there's no turning back. As time goes on and you rack up more points on your eAmuse card you get access to more of the songs inside. These songs represent the hardest stepcharts in the game and the biggest challenges. POSSESSION is one of those songs and this picture alludes to the possibility of it and the rest of the RDA songs making an appearance on DDR II. So seasoned players, and those in the know are excited about this image because of what could mean.
All the bawking and bitching about how Konami doesn't pay attention to its core fanbase should all but disappear now. Because Konami is willing to spend time coding in a system that most players are going to respond with "Repli-what?". Only a handful of buyers are going to understand and appreciate this effort. And we should make sure they know we appreciate it.
I think it's safe to say that Konami learnt its lesson about letting third-party producers handle their flagship game. I fear for the future of the series on any console outside of the Wii (and the coming Wii U) but this, Konami's taking the helm of production again, and the inclusion of Doubles mode makes me feel like they're willing to do more than just push another year's DDR out the door. It makes me feel like they'll listen if we are vocal about our disappointments.
At the same time we should be vocal about what we think Konami is doing right. And support them as best we can as their fans. Konami should get at least as much praise from us as they do complaints. It's hard to steer a ship when you're only being told where not to go.

The following songs make up the Replicant D-Action folder on the arcade version of DDR X2 (note that this does NOT necessarily mean that they will all show up)
Sakura Sunrise / Ryu☆
Pierce the Sky / JAKAZiD feat. K.N.
Shiny World / CAPACITY GATE
POSSESSION / TAG underground
New Decade / Sota F.
Anti-Matter / Orbit1 & Milo
Valkyrie dimension / Spriggan
You can find all these songs in the Zenius simfile database.
I'm most excited about the "more than 80 songs" bit myself (so long as they don't count long versions as a separate song, which they really shouldn't because the short and long versions of the song will not make individual appearances on the songwheel, rather, you select the song and then are asked whether you want to play the long or short version). That number of songs will appeal both to veteran players as well as casual players.

We haven't heard a single piece of bad news besides some of the licences. This release is shaping up to be an amazing comeback from last year. Anyways has any information been revealed on how the unlocking system is going to work?

Just went onto gamestop.com to check the price of the game, and they've lowered the price from $69.99 to $49.99, thank god I pre-ordered the game from them, meaning that I'll be paying the lower price when it comes out.

And not to mention, RDA isn't just boss songs; they're songs WITH bosses just to make it cooler.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-QgNvdLuJc
And if that could explain all the Rinon battles in the console version, I would be one happy cookie. Evidently, the only happy cookie but I am okay with that.
IMO, they're also just really appealing songs, step and sound-wise. Being boss songs, they stand out the most and fans hear about them the most and therefore, we all rejoice when Konami's like "gee people have been waiting for these songs; let's throw them in because most of the people outside Japan will never see them otherwise because Betson kind of failed at making the game fun and nobody wants to buy the machines" or something.

Watch local stores here charge $68 equivalent for this game. DDR PS3 is sold here at the same price in the last few months I checked.
New Decade is a serious-sounding boss song that doesn't take itself seriously.
Kinda disappointed that the player "fighting" the Rinons only happen in Extra Stage and EES. Now, with the MAX unlock, those, along with the BGM for the RDA song wheel, are gone forever...
Unless they intend bring RDA to DDR II with little, if any, changes.

I had to pre-order the bundle when it was $69.99...Is it possible for me to get some reimbursement (HA DOUBT IT) from Gamestop if they lowered the price on the bundle?

If that doesn't work you could always try getting your money back for your pre-order and use that money to pre-order it again under the new price :V

When you go to pick up the game, you'll pay the lower price, not the $69.99, so don't worry.
