Just got a new PC for the family with Windows 7. It's all sleek and shiny *o* Now hopefully I can run some games off of my external hard drive on a computer that can actually handle the processing power.

More than half the movies that are advertised as being 3D nowadays are just 2D movies put through a converter program that basically does nothing but make the image extremely dark. The only movie I've seen recently that had any sort of noticeable 3D-ness is Toy Story 3, and it was really only a sense of depth. There really wasn't anything that made the higher price necessary.

In my opinion I think every movie is now going 3D because of Avatar was in 3D & made a shitload of money so every other studio are "Hey let's make it 3D LOLOLOLOLOL"

3D effects fail to grab my total appeal. It doesn't really matter to me whether something is in 3D or not.

FINALLY, someone who agrees with me. This whole 3D movie schtick is dumb. I saw "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" in regular 2D, and I enjoyed it, despite not being a Twilight fan (my girlfriend, OTOH, is).BTW, I place all the blame on this 3D BS on James Cameron, and that "Avatar" film. I saw that movie twice, and still fail to see what's so great about it.
