hell naw those jacks (+ jumps) are hellish at that BPM, combined with the ambiguous steps overall.
FLOWER being a 16 is debatable, 15 is okay with me.

Yeah, after trying snow prism on Stepmania (because that fully qualifies me to be a judge on ratings, right?), I fully agree with the 16 rating. The only re-rating I haven't seen them do, but I think oughta happen is Revolutionary Addict being a 17, but that's just me, and I suppose in the end it's up to Konami and... Herpderp arbitrary numbers.

Well, the video for PARANOiA Revolution is very specific to that song, whereas Go For The Top is just generic videos loosely scripted to the song but definitely not as unique and fitting.
The re-ratings are all appropriate for sure. Glad osaka EVOLVED got kicked down to a 15, it caused me great consternation to have it being a 16.
Seule could stand to even be an 11 honestly, but 12 is all right, I suppose.
Apparently Find The Way is very challenging for a 12, looking forward to seeing more videos of the new songs and unlockable Challenge charts!

The only step chart that should have been clearly changed too is Wicked Plastik. 
-single is not a 13. It's an easy 12.

I've seen FFR steps [if people actually remember that site] better than what "DJ" steps were made. HP2 steps are just as bad as DDR 2010 steps and I would not be shocked if they were made by the same group of people. At least Jun's 'Racing With Time' steps actually go to the rhythm but are just way too awkward to step.
IMHO, a sign of a bad step chart is when they will randomly switch from lyrics/focal rhythm, to BG stuff without any causation such as a bridge. A Brighter Day

is a good example of that. Closer to my heart (jun remix) is the worst stepchart of HP2. I'm agree with you, the steps of HP2 are so bad compared with HP1 ... Desert Journey, Closer to my heart, Scramble are examples of good songs with bad charts.

Hopefully Konami won't make any iffy charts like Desert Journey. This is the last DDR (maybe), so they should try to make the best and/or most fun charts they can IMO.
