That's probably one thing that DDR has over other movement based games. DDR is considered aerobic exercise and even if you play the bare minimum amount of movement to complete songs in the game, you're still raisin the heart rate significantly. I don't think we'll see being studies on other games like Just Dance or Dance Central, but I wonder how their involvement compares in exercise that you can get.

I'm really liking where this game is going. The box art may be meh, but that doesn't bother me at all. The game itself is showing some great potential. I really like the X2 stuff they are bringing over. Hope we can see more of that; specifically the songs. I could name so many I wish to see. Definitely going to consider getting this as more news rolls in.

U1 just posted on a comment on his Facebook saying that he will post more news soon!

also I don't know if this has to do with anything but the reason why we might get 80 songs on this game, U1 also said " I had accepted many kinds of your requests for DDRII.I would like to thank everyone.I can't wait you to play DDRII."

So maybe there going to give us old songs that we might've of missed?

He said the same thing to me too, how soon though is still something we will have to wait on...

As for the 80 songs thing, i sort of DOUBT they would give us classic songs, but if they do, i sure hope it's the 2ndMIX classics like BOOM BOOM DOLLAR or vice versa...but really, all i want from this game is the X2 AC songs and a few X3 AC songs in it.

I should also point out that that little diabetes thing on the boxart is not really all that unusual. I assume it means that DDR has been "endorsed" by the American Diabetes Association as a tool to lead people to a healthier lifestyle, which definitely fits into the whole exergaming aspect of DDR that Konami has been marketing these past few years.

I guess I just expected it on the back of the boxart, not on the cover itself.

Extreme was considered the best AC mix and then Extreme 2 came after it, considered the best CS mix.
Now X2 has beaten Extreme for the title of best AC mix and maybe now DDR II will beat out Extreme 2 for best CS mix.
Makes sense, doesn't it? There's so many songs we missed, just like Extreme.

So we now have the most songs ever in a CS mix outside of Japan, we just need Challenge difficulty and Edit Mode and I can die happy.

"DDR-ing regularly again!~"
I've been told by one of my anti-DDR pro-ITG troll friends that DDR peaked at the Extreme AC and Extreme 2 CS, which I really don't believe because I though SuperNOVA was amazing too, but I do hope that this new DDR game will bring back some of those people that liked the classic DDR. (probably not my friend though because he only plays revivals or ITG and nothing else... pretty stubborn)

Sorry, Star Fox 64 3DS, you'll just have to wait. Besides, having only local multiplayer is lame for a game like that.

Certainly, I have extremely high hopes for DDR II now, it seems they have really taken the commentary to heart. However, my Big Three wishes still remain to be seen: Challenge difficulty, Stepcharts Not Written By Comatose Pandas, and the 20-point difficulty scale. They're so far looking good though! Tongue

I also have high expectations for DDRII. I'm the one who can usually deal with the bullcrap and find the good in things, and so far, there's no bullcrap with this. Hopefully Konami can keep up the good work and continue this trend so we can have high quality DDR games in the futureHappy

Well it's definitely looking more promising now. I'm still not totally won over though.

Also, people are complaining about the boxart? Seriously? Have you guys seen the European ones lately? Fitness Fitness Revolution and Camel Toe Camel Toe Revolution?
