New EXTRA SAVIOR folder coming, containing the songs from Ichika no gochamaze Mix UP! Once you've unlocked all 5, you'll move on to the next phase which includes all the original songs from that event that DDR didn't get, which is:

With a tease of something once you unlock all charts for all of the above. Begins April 4 at 10 AM JST (April 8 for non-gold cabs).

I wonder what this "something" is, considering VOLAQUAS was the final song of the original event...

The 18 felt like it was holding back a bit so I suspected at some point a challenge chart was coming. Whether its a 19 or another 18 is left to be seen.

It's a 19, at least on singles. The tweet shows someone looking in the Level 19 tab of the Play Data page on the official A3 website with VOLAQUAS there at the bottom.

Difficulty spreads (SP) for the Phase 2 songs.

After unlocking all 6 of these songs, you get Phase 3, which is VOLAQUAS .

That's a definite record for the fastest 19 to be PFC'd.

Also, 993 steps is second only to MAX 360 Single for most steps in a non-long-version DDR chart.

That's a wild sightread. But it's cool to see a 19 that is bridging the gap between 18 and 19. A3 has had it's faults, but that's a good thing overall.

I feel like people are afraid to admit that A3 is a good mix so instead you guys come up with weird things to say like "A3 has had its faults BUT this is pretty good" and under like most new additions. Yeah obviously you have your Trance dance anarkys and your Battle Against a True Heros but to make good updates like this sound like the exception when theyre really the norm is extremely forced.

You’re seeing this because more than one person posts here and we all find different aspects of the game to be good or bad.

I was like "what long version DDR song is there that's harder?" and then I remembered Xmix5 (Overcrush) existed. Even then, that's only 3 notes more on than MAX 360 and that song's already been beaten on doubles.

Wait until a song or songs that aren't related to any event are released, then you can speculate DDR's next entry.

I'm surprised there are this many Golden League songs for A3; it's already surpassed A20+'s 14 GL entries.
At the same time, there are only 15 Course Trials for A3 when A20+ had 19, and we haven't had a new one this year (Epilogue released Dec 28). I wouldn't mind one more course before "things" happen, but I'm in no rush.

*Note: this does not include Anniversary Course Trials or Anniversary League (Not Alone). There's something about them I have a feeling about, though.

I honestly find odd how that 25th anniversary contest has had only one song released, like if I remember they had a contest for both vocalists and arrangers but only Throw Out was released? (not to mention they didn't do anything for the series' 25th anniversary, unlike what they did in 2018 with A20 and the DDR SELECTION category)

Its really funny that the generalized opinion on this song (ignoring its very boring chart) is either "Best golden league song yet" or "Worst thing I have ever heard".

I personally like it a lot because it reminds me of the old D-Crew Gabba songs.

Yeah, this chart is the most "we have a chart coming so here's a bland " thing I've seen a while. I like the song well enough, but what's with the super abrupt ending??

I think the abrupt end is maybe a nod to horror genre's because it's like that trope of cutting things off abruptly when the monster is getting close and it just cuts to black before something bad happens or is heard? The song is very dark and abrupt in nature with it's break core vibes in a lot of the song, so maybe the abrupt end has to do with the sharp deep tones of the song and aloof to something. Either way I don't hate it and I think I get what the artist was going for, maybe?
