Proposition 8, the ballot initiative that outlawed same-sex marriage in California, has been overturned by a federal judge today. Unfortunately, it seems he has issued a stay of his judgment, meaning that Prop 8 will still be law until it is ruled on by an appeals court and likely the Supreme Court, which could take years.

Geez...

Correction: the stay is TEMPORARY until Judge Walker has a hearing on whether to apply the stay permanently, which should happen in the next few days.

Okay so I have my Xbox's internet set up really weirdly. Since I am too cheap to buy those stupid wireless adapters and I don't have a cord long enough to reach my router, I connect it to my PC in my room which then connects wirelessly to the internet.
Today I was playing a good ol' match of TF2. Suddenly I get disconnected! I turn around and see my laptop restarted Why? Windows freaking updated and restarted for me. There are two things in this post that I mentioned that makes me want to punch the CEO of Microsoft in the face.
To top this all off, it has more updates when I logged back on
Isn't Vista super????

On an unrelated matter, summer is boring. But I think I prefer it that way.

Edit: Oh hey did anyone else know the changes done about giving ratings? There's a scale now to show what each rating should be given for. Or is this old news?

I just got a PS3 (for my brother, though I get to use it) over the weekend. Apparently, every time I set up the PS3 in my living room (with an SDTV using composite cables) after using it in my room (with an HDTV using HDMI), I have to manually set the video output to composite video before I unhook the PS3 from my TV. You'd think Sony would have it set to change video output automatically depending on the connection, like Microsoft with the XBOX 360.

I believe if you hold down the power button it actually resets the video to whatever is plugged in.

This. I remember having the same problem, and I tried holding the power button down just to see if it would do anything. The video came back on and I was a happy person.

I tried it this morning, before I left the house, and it worked. Thanks...it saved me a couple minutes of shuffling around AV cords. This is what I get for not reading the manual.

EDIT: Microsoft changes the resolution on the XBOX 360 depending on what connection is detected. Why can't Sony do the same.

I have beetween 5 and 10 disconnection by day now, I HATE MY INTERNET ! *rage*
Well i feel... not really better now. If i punch something or play some hard ddr songs maybe yes, but it won't happend.

I don't understand why YouTube will never let me directly reply to someone's comment on a video. Other people can do it...why can't I?

Uuuuhhhh........ there was a few minor issues with new members receiving harsh ratings for their first posts. I and a few others talked about it with alan and that is the best system we can come up with, without making drastic changes.

In other (old) news.... Samsung's Galaxy S series of phones will CaptivAte you with their Vibrant and colorful screens. Hopefully they don't Fascinate (oh how I wish they named it "Fascination" instead) you too much and steal the Epic win from every thing else on the market.
