I never thought Ninja Gaiden II's Mentor mode was a bit on the asshole side in terms of difficulty, but I did now when it took me 75 tries to finish Chapter 2, being stuck at a fight with incendiary shuriuken ninjas and Rasetsu. The Lunar Staff was at Level 1, so no 360 Essence Technique for me here. No healing items, no Ki, and no mushrooms to replenish the Ki. Somehow, I managed to take out Rasetsu with plenty of health and the IS ninjas (which are about as deadly as the boss) and got to the next checkpoint. Genshin took a few tries to get used to, but I did upgrade Lunar to level 2 so the 360 ET/UT helped against his lackeys. Now I'm close to concluding Chapter 3.
So yeah, the road to Mentor is 100 times as hard as the easier mode Warrior mode (and the pansy Acolyte mode, where even nubs can get half-way through the game). I can't imagine what Master Ninja would be, even with the commentary videos by Reim at GameFAQs.

ive been posting a lot so now im going to post in here
ive been playing sc2 since i ate dinner. Playing on brutal (hardest) and got through like 6 or so missions so far. i think ive had to redo each of them. except for the second mission. i laughed at how the first mission is harder than the second.
