anyways, short story time

About not too long ago, i was checking DJ Hero's Facebook just to see if anything new popped up or someone had a RIDICULOUSLY OBVIOUS question to get answered...

...i noticed that A LOT of people got their stickersheet if they ordered it online, well i ordered mines back when the game first came out...it has been between 7 to 8 months and i received nothing. So i just commented on their wall telling them that's i've been waiting about 7 to 8 months for my stickersheet...but i didn't really care and i would just wait it out for DJ Hero 2 to come along and get their stickers.

Next thing i know, this lady messages me saying that she's from the DJ Hero Marketing Department and she told me that on the first weeks of the game being released, they had a glitch in the server so they could not send out all the stickersheets that were being ordered. But eventually they DID ship them out. She then asked me what my new address was...and also what my shirt size was...she even said i was one of their "favorite fans" too >_>...

...so gave her my new address, waited 3-4 business days, got my "stuff"...

....this is what i got:
- 3 DJ Hero stickersheets.
- A $50 GIFT CARD FOR PUMA
- The DJ Hero Daft Punk Poster.
- The Jay-Z/Eminem Renegade Edition Poster.
- A small DJ Hero poster consisting of all the real-life DJ's that are playable characters in the game.
- 2 DJ Hero pens (Yes...PENS).
- 5 DJ Hero Sticky Notes.
- DJ Hero Hat
- DJ Hero Shirt
- 7 DJ Hero logo stickers
- a DJ Hero car ring.

...and all this just because i didn't get ONE stickersheet...lol

Dear lord, it is so HOT now.

I have fans and air conditioners going, and just like KKiONI said, it's doing NOTHING! What is this, a heatwave? Yesterday, temperatures hit over 100 degress Fahrenheit! I bet you could cook eggs on the sidewalk outside!

I could of sworn it was cooling my room the day before. Maybe it's because it's been running so much lately. I doubt the filter would get that filled within a day.

I actually cleaned out my Air Conditioner today...it had a nice bath in the shower and then after I plugged it in (WHEN THE THING DRIED OF COURSE)....sanctuary <3

Hmm... Maybe my AC is due for a filter cleaning.
Speaking of all this air conditioner stuff, it's been super hot here lately. It was like 34 celcius today (I later heard it in Fahrenheit which was like 110 or something with the humidex). I am not a warm weather person

Maybe your compressor is shot.

I have no idea what that means, but that's what the maintenance guy said was wrong with my air conditioner. He did something to whatever and now my apartment is a comfortable temperature again.

When I stepped outside today, I officially found out how hot today was. From this I also found out my air conditioner is actually doing something. Stepping inside from a hot day was so awesome, it somehow felt cooler.
I still remember when the landlord could no legally turn off the boilers until mid June. The pipes that ran in the basement were boiling and so was the rest of the basement. I really wonder who was the idiot who made this law that boilers cannot be shut off till mid June.

Well guys, after playing The Orange Box on my friend's Xbox 360, i have mustered up the money to actually get it on Steam for the PC...

Went to a Pump It Up NXA on the Maryland side of DC today, and driving was an f***ing nightmare.
1. Got very lost.
2. Got stuck in gridlock. (In the very outskirts of the burbs, no less.)
c. Got very nearly rear-ended multiple times.
四. Very nearly rear-ended multiple people with their lights off after 10pm.
7. Got honked at dozens of times for no reason whatsoever.

Took me 2.5 hours to get there and 30 minutes to get back. TOTALLY WORTH IT though.

I decided to pop in Mega Man Anniversary Collection and play the first Mega Man game, which I haven't played in a while. And I was reminded of how much I despise the last bit of Ice Man's stage. I honestly find that part with the moving footholds/enemies the most frustrating part in the game.

Mixing with my new CDJ-2000's!

Now to acquire a DJM-2000 mixer and my life is complete.

So I finally went to my college orientation today & chose my classes. After realizing it, there's only 6 classes I have. I have basic math & english, basic film (from what this is, I watch movies, then write about it) then another film class, then Japanese & outdoor photography only on Friday. Seems like good classes to start with for the new year

I wish I could go to college early, high school's gotten boring. Anywho, since I was gone, I got a job doing a creative wiritng program! It's the only thing I like about Chicago.
