I totally forgot about HANDS UP IN THE AIR somehow... Well, that would make him really active in the game's beginning. A collab is also a possibility. I guess time will tell when we get an OST later on.

Looks like DDR A went live in Korea today - even though the white cab timing bug still exists. Konami pls...

We could also figure out once DDR A's website starts doing song comments. Songs done by U1 often leave short song comments.

I'm curious to know... If you play Tohoku EVOLVED does it say "PRAY FOR ALL" when you clear the song instead of "CLEAR"? Or was that removed?

ZEROWOLF has uploaded a first part video of some of the visual changes in DDR A:



These changes include:
- A background stage from DDR X2 that has disappeared in the subsequent games being revived.
- Dance Celebration's dance routine from DDR X being revived after its removal in DDR X2.
- Some camera angle changes of the characters dancing while playing LOVING YOU (Epidemik remix).
- The videos of In The Breeze and Natsuiiro Diary being removed, as much of us knew already.

Questions:

- Why hasn't Konami removed the edit lines from gameplay, and is there anyway to remove them? They're really annoying and they're not making stepfiles, so they should be removed.
- Why were those videos removed? Specially In The Breeze?

The Island Song was probably removed because it was a one-shot video; in the original DDR 2010, there are overlays that make the video feel more dynamic (i.e. a pulsing shot of the sun at the "Shining, shining" line).

In The Breeze is explicitly a trailer for the BEMANI Summer Diary event, which was entirely contained in the last mix. Basically, it's gone for the same reason the Love is the Power video is gone.

The In The Breeze video kinda could stay, but the Summer Diary video is whatever. Half of the Summer Diary video is a scrolling list of song titles that crossed over into other Bemani games. I wouldn't've thought to remove it, but I agree with removing it.

You mean the scrolling line? Thats an E-Amuse feature. Easy to time.

Do those lines help anyone during normal gameplay?
Maybe they do? I don't know; probably 99% of the people here started playing before they sort of forced the lines on new players and would probably prefer not to have them. I liked them in edit mode as much as the next person, but that was just to know where to place arrows.

The guidelines are removable in the options screen as GUIDELINES. I'm fairly certain they are removable in both Premium and non-Premium play modes. This is not new, this was part of 2014.

They are useful for people that match their timing with their eyes, and don't feel the rhythm with their soul.
