"I'm honestly pissed off."
I was playing on pad. It is a good warmup though. Gets you moving at a decent speed, doesn't hammer you with long streams like R&P or CSFILSM.

R&P was actually a warm up song for me for a while lol. Was my first 9-footer AAA.

I love sunkiss drop but not really a warm up song for me lol.

Freckles was my warm up song on SN1 for PS2. Its nice and simple. Decent streams and a little crossovers.

I like CSFILSM but doing taps is not good for a warmup imo.

Another funny random thing I noticed when I was playing doubles for a bit on SN2 is that konami actually rated PH on doubles to how we say it should be rated. I tried basic PH (average doubles player in my mind) and its still a beast to reckon with. Managed a B.

New upgrade location:

Adventure Landing, Rochester NY.

Local mode, same version number. I feel kinda bad, I have two SN2's within 15 minutes of each other near me Smile
I have a SN2, GFDMV4, IIDX15, and Popmu15 within 10 minutes of me Big Grin
Maybe that's where I need to move to.
But how much per game though?:3

"...but where's MY machine"
SUNKiSS DROP = good warmup song? Holy crap, all of you must have amazing stamina.

CSFILSM wears me out less. True story.

OT: I suck majorly at doubles, though I try. You ARE supposed to learn without the bar, right? 'Cuz I can't even manage to hold the bar right on singles... X_X

"OMG KON!"
King of Light - someone passed PhoeniX about 2/3 weeks ago at BZN.

Also my warmup song is MAX300 (for stamina build), and why not, (for accuracy build).

Also later yesterday since I did not eat in over 24 hours, and lost so many calories, I blacked out after I got up to move. Never do that, that was a dumb move on my part.

I also found out I lost about 5 pounds from playing yesterday, which is really not good.

You ARE supposed to learn without the bar, right?

You can use the bar if you want, but the main issue learning to play doubles is made harder by holding the bar. See, doubles play is in every way similar to singles play, except for one added thing: location awareness. You have to know exactly which arrows you have stepped on last, which direction from those arrows is the next one you have to step, and the distance. (besides Dynamite Rave air special, you are introduced to 4 new jumps with a longer span than anything singles)

In trying to practice location awareness on easy songs ~3 or less feet, it is easier to step on the next arrow, consciously consider your position and orientation for a split second, then step on the next, or swivel over ot the other pad, without the bar. I found it easy to bounce across from one pad to the next and hit each arrow all the way to the next pad's extreme arrow with the same foot, at first. Holding onto the bars while learning how to play will bend your body, and keep you at a fixed (and rounded) distance from the area between the bars, which is bad for trying to get to that phase where distance and position become second nature. Use the bar when you get to the point where you are trying to pass 10's, or simply playing for high scores.

Also, Omega, I've never blacked out while playing (or resting from) DDR, but I've played hard enough before that I had to call my parents to drive to the arcade, and have one pick me up and the other drive my car home. Cry I did eat enough that day, but I felt sick because I had a 1/2 BBQ chicken (tastes like heaven) from Sonny's Real-pit Barbeque, and anyone who's had that will know not only how good it is, but also what an extreme grease-fest it is. Reg. 2008-03-27

My only problem is that I have a tendency to get cramps in my legs, but thats only after playing for about 3 to 4 hours. My longest fun so far was just last week at 5 hours.

Was not good for work the next day. And i went again 3 days later to play, hahah.
Its such an awesome game. I have extreme stamina, I just dont know the step charts on most of the 10 footers to finish them. And my timing is getting better.

I am finally getting AA now. But few of them.

Its nice though that you can input your name on the Nonstop and Challenge courses without the e-amuse.

For those of us without SN2, it really would have been nice if EVERY nonstop/challenge course had a name input, not just 2 each. It would be nice to make known that I beat 4 challenge courses, but only SuperNOVA and Sparkle are displayed and allow the input to be recorded in some manner. Mad

Also, I bugged my arcade manager again for the seventh time about SN2, first time in about 50 days. He claims he'll "look into it", as if I have never told him about it. Aghphfbphblargh fgsfds

Same... I eat footlong Subway sandwiches for snacks and eat 1.5 pounds of crab when I go to Red Lobster, but I'm skinny as a rail and still 125 lbs. Laughing Out Loud I think it's easier said than done for people with a low metabolism, but I sometimes surprise myself with my hummingbird-like metabolism.

I eat all the time, but I over obsessively play, which makes me loose everything I just ate I guess (and a little more...?)...

CSFILSM wears me out less. True story.

Actually, my stamina isn't that good. I typically fail if a 9+ chart has 90 or more jumps, especially if they're mixed with 8ths. SKD simply doesn't have brutal jumps, and I would have FC'ed it last night if I had been prepared for the LDRDLURUL sections, and not turned too far to the right like I was.
CSFILSM is more draining, because of the longer streams, and taps.

One thing that makes a big difference in how draining a song is, is how familiar you are with the steps. If you're more familiar with it, you unconsciously plan ahead, and figure out how to use less energy while doing it. So CSFILSM drains you less because you know it better, and conserve energy better. Just like R&P drains me less than Mondo Street, because I know R&P better. (actually, that statement might be inaccurate, it's been a while since I did Mondo Street)

Oh, don't say that =/
I'm 5' 8.75" and anywhere from 176-182 depending on how much I've eaten lately, plus I've been working out every other day since December. There's a weight limit for getting into the Air Force, and they've considered me 5'8" before (180 limit) rather than 5'9" (186 limit). So I don't want to hear it Tongue
