Any news about the DDR World rollout in Canada, USA and Europe?
I wonder if these new DDR W songs will make it to offline machines. Pump It Up and In The Groove have a proper update system, so Konami should do something similar with World machines.

Last i seen, nothing.
They SHOULD do something but they wont cause buying upgrade kits is more profitable.
For Europe, they have the silver cabs.

Wow. There's actually some songs I already know in this pack. That doesn't usually happen.
Also:
>Challenge chart for Worst Plan
Booooooo! The expert chart is already perfect! There's nothing to improve upon.

DDR WORLD already rolled out to the US since it released in June 14th 2024 in both upgrades and cabinets, it's been almost 2 years since it's been out in the US, it got the same roll out as Asia and Japan. Konami and DJ Yoshitaka(BEMANI's new head director now) have been rolling out a Western initiative to give the west Bemani officially with a dedicated US based network and allowing all arcades outside Round 1 and Dave and Busters to buy Bemani games with network support if they wish(it's a high pricetag to lease cabinets and getting network support costs the arcade a fee, will most arcades adopt this outside Round 1 and Dave & Busters? We don't know, probably not many), a lot of good is going on in the rhythm game world for the west and we have been eating real good, and all future Bemani releases will have releases in the US officially too, including the new Pop'n music and upcoming new jubeat game they just took a survey for.
Same goes for Sega and Namco, they are also on western pushes for their rhythm games to come to the west with support, we got MaiMai from Sega with possibly more games to come like Chunithm, and Namco bringing Taiko officially.
Europes DDR WORLD silver cab roll out happened back on February 4th of this year it's been out for more than a month in Europe now.
Also ITG and StepmaniaX operate different with song roll outs and it's not changing for Konami's games, events for Bemani are made in a way to be grindy and slow to pump money from players, we all know how greedy Konami is, they're not changing the way we obtain songs. Most likely the offline machines will get them as they come out instead of the events, giving them to everyone since there's no way to get them.
Canada roll out? I have no idea? I assume you guys got none at all as the remywiki did not state a Canadian release for DDR WORLD, so I don't think you guys got one.

if they're doing all these crossovers i wish we'd get tamayura from gfdm at some point. we already have at least three of the other big bosses from that era and i think tamayura's the best out of them.

While I'm happy (no pun intended) at the inclusion of the new licenses, all I can think of is...Happy is being revived, and four new western licenses are coming March 26th:
...how are they going to censor the music videos for Blinding Lights and Rain On Me? Blinding Lights's MV has blood and a few cigarettes and Rain On Me's has a bit of gore with weapons on Lady Gaga's leg. I guess they won't include those or keep the MV's anyway and do some careful editing.

I’m actually happy that “Happy” is coming back. That difficult chart was *chef’s kiss*.

Well is it a 100% a revival or will it be recharted?

Good question. I hope it’s not a rechart. They didn’t update the charts for No Tears Left To Cry and S'il vous president when they were revived.

Happy will most likely keep its original steps but be sorted in the WORLD category, just like No Tears Left to Cry and S'il vous president.

Firework is such an odd license pick (alongside reinstating Happy)? Maybe if it was 2013/2014 still I'd get it, but adding it nearly 15 years after its peak of cultural relevance is so odd.
