This is funny. In Arcade DS, Europe Konami still want put inside some old DanceMania licences like Test My Best, Never Ending Story, WWW.Blonde Girl, So Deep, Livin' In America, etc. But why Europe Konami NEVER put old DanceMania licences on Home version DS ( Except for DS Fushion that only have 1 old DanceMania licence : It's Raining Men (Almighty Mix) that actually taken from DDR MAX2: DDR 7th Mix and never been released on Home version DDR 7th mix)? Why Europe Konami so hard to give us DanceMania Licences? They just give us Horrible licences and UnDanceable songs.
Same for Konami Original. Some Konami Original is Japan Only, not for USA or Europe . Why Europe Konami so hard to give us ALL Konami Originals? Anybody can answer?

So, we'll be camping out for the next NA release while you guys are camping out for SN2. Great way to tell a market you don't care about them, Konami. |

So who have a task to choose which song that gonna be released in home version DS? I mean Konami's staff in Europe. Can be Song selector, Step editor, or maybe Naoki Maeda himself?

Delayed till September?
Can't say I wouldn't have expected that anyway, and NO this doesn't mean we will end up getting anything better than we would have normally. It will still be 10 licences, ~20 if we are at all lucky, probably mostly the US versions rejects again with dodgy videos and one or two decent ones thrown in just to make the game seem worth buying.
I don't think this has anything to do with Konami hating Europe, just more the fact that we aren't lucrative enough of a region for them to give a damn anymore.
Looking through the US songlists for Extreme US CS onwards I sometimes think how happy I would be with those mixes these days.
My advice to Konami is to not even bother creating a localised Dancing Stage mix for us anymore. Just convert the latest US Dance Dance Revolution game to PAL, stamp it on the front and ship them here. Hell, you they even have to change Dance Dance Revolution to Dancing Stage if it will lower the release gap by a few months as I suspect it takes their graphic artists a week to boot their computers and another two to decide how quickly to put Dancing Stage in front of SuperNOVA2. Then of course there is translating all the terms they have been using for the last 3 games yet again into several other languages. Obviously people need clear instructions in their own language in order to play a music and rhythm game.
My opinion? We treat Konami with the same respect they treat us. When September comes we all refuse to buy Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 on the principle that it will take us 6 to 8 months to translate our patience into money in order to buy the game.
Sod it, I'm making my own licences for Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 and I'll be playing them in Stepmania before Konami has even begun shipping...

5th of September?
WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING, KONAMI!?
Seriously, this'll mean that it's been delayed for God knows how long, and for what? A few more crap licences?
Anyway, This is how I'll be spending the money I would have spent on SN2. I invite you all to join me.

SuperNOVA
26th September 2006 - SuperNOVA (PS2) (North America)
25th January 2007 - SuperNOVA (PS2) (Japan)
27th April 2007 - SuperNOVA (PS2) (Europe)
SuperNOVA2
26th September 2007 - SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (North America)
21st February 2008 - SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (Japan)
5th September 2008 - SuperNOVA2 (PS2) (Europe)
Sheesh, over four months later than we got SuperNOVA. Unless those extra four months were them actually scrapping copying the North American version and instead copying the Japan version instead; but still, copy and paste, change some text and logos doesn't warrant an extra four months!?

Exactly. Way for Konami to feck us over on their anniversary year.
A little late, but hold on!
Yeah, that's UNI 2 scheduled for the same day as SN2 (knowing we always get games a day after the rest of Europe, the UK'd get it on 5th September). If Konami are true to their word, this delay could go from frigging annoying to absolutely great. Seriously, when waas the last time 2 DS games came out on the same day?

It wouldn't make a blind bit of difference for me TBH. I don't own a 360 and money is a bit tight at the moment to buy the DS Hottest Party bundle so I'm waiting for the main DS mix on the PS2. I wouldn't be surprised if Konami suddenly reveal that they are putting it onto the PS3 instead and starting up some kind of pay-per-song system like SingStar.
After Sony have obviously busted their balls putting a massive 30 songs on a 25GB Blue Ray disc, I wonder how many Konami would honour us with?

Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2 @ PlayStation Games & Media
Now we can confirm those screenshots are in fact, from Dancing Stage SuperNOVA2.
I think Rock Your Body can be confirmed too from this.
Release date is STILL TBC, but KONAMI's official word is not until September. I wonder what is the hold up!

The Dancing Stage series has sold over two million copies in Europe to date and the latest instalment, Dancing Stage SuperNOVA 2, is the biggest yet. It features a brand new Hyper Master mode, in which you must complete a series of stages before going up against a boss in a classic dance-off. And with tracks from Justin Timberlake, Bobby Brown and Goldfrapp, this is the best excuse yet to step onto the dance mat and move your feet. * Hyper Master mode appears for the first time in the series * Invite friends to the party with comprehensive multiplayer modes * Move to classic tracks from Justin Timberlake, Bobby Brown and Goldfrapp |

Hmm... the logo looks more like "DANCMG STAGE" than "DANCING STAGE". Made me laugh.

However, if the songlist still awful like previous DS, I'm not interested to buy it. I will play on StepMania for all SN2 songs from Japan

True, but I must say the Dancing Stage equivalent banner for SN2 looks a lot nicer and much smoother in design than the DDR version. I love how they have shifted the 'Dancing Stage' and 'SuperNOVA' parts onto two concise lines and placed the 2 beside. It's very eye pleasing.

Never Lord Toon... never....
It also sounds like for once we are getting a proper mix and match for licences in SN2. It appears that Konami have taken one or two licences out here and there and may be replacing them with new ones. The lack of And Then We Kiss seems to support this theory anyway.
I'll forgive the September wait if Konami can provide my Sugababes and Girls Aloud fix with this licence change around. Cara Mia does seem a somewhat obscure choice, although it is a pleasant sounding song. Has anyone even heard of it before now?

That stinks. Europe Konami always remove Japan DDR licences. They never want put any Japan DDR licences. Why they removed Angelus, Unbelievable? They think Japan DDR licences not fit to hear by European gamer? Not Europish? Too Japanish? DS SN2 licences much like DDR SN2 USA PS2 but with less songs. Maybe we still dreaming to play Me Against The Music, Stealth, Switch, Trust ~DDR REMIX~, Two Months Off, etc on Home version DS because Europe Konami never want to give us nice songs like that. They always give us another songs that not from DDR SN2 Japan Arcade.
