Um, the older Asaki songs have a straight BPM. HOTARU onwards do not.

DDR needs a non-crossover Asaki song, that is hopefully not rock-ish. I imagine his vocals in a 160/170 BPM dance song already.

To go waaaay back when people were mention Dancemania licenses: We'll probably get lucky if we get even a few more selections from Dancemania. Not that Konami doesn't WANT to, I'm sure. They had a pretty sweet deal with them, but I'd guess that the whole deal sort of crumbled since there's been no Dancemania albums in a while. I would guess that the DM licenses on SuperNOVA1 were licensed independently, seeing as how NO advertisements for Dancemania appeared in the game. You can also tell by the cuts. As I understand it, Toshiba did the Game-cuts of DM songs for Konami and well...listen to Golden Sky and Modern Girl, and then compare it to about anything before...

To fill the gap...more Konami covers please! I like how you made My Favorite Things into a dance song but...maybe make some speed remixes too? That would be awesome...

Licensed J-Pop! Come on now...Duran Duran? Janet Jackson? There's no way that Hitomi Shimatani, Kotoko, and Ai Otsuka cost as much as them (Doesn't seem like they SHOULD anyways...who knows?).

I was a BIG Dancemania tracks fan and I'll remember them like fond friends. But I'm looking toward the future in regard to licensed music.

I would definitely like to see the series continue what it's doing with covering popular songs, but start covering more of Japan's own acts. Similar to what goes on in the Gitadora series, but less emphasis on the rock covers, and more on the pop, r&b, dance side of things.

I hope Hitomi Shimatani in SuperNOVA2 is just a taste of things to come in the series. I'm excited!

PIU crossovers would be great..However I believe Andamiro and Konami are rival companies..hmm if that's the case then they could ask for the licensed songs from their individual artists...
