The cabinet ends up not being DDR 2014 and it's just a ps2 inside a cabinet.

IIRC, please correct me if I'm wrong here, any DDR AC machine that uses Python 2 (a Playstation 2 system built in) it can still play PS2 games therefore any DDR US CS game will work on it.

Making it a videmption game where one good or below step ends the game and you get one ticket per song cleared.

We get all the boss songs, but it's stuck on Happy/ Beginner mode for the kiddos and drunk people.
also it only has one pad to save space in arcades for (other) redemption games because no one wants to pay double for doubles anyway

Wrong. The DDR Python 2 is a Japanese PS2 disk with a Modded hard drive inside. If you remove the hard drive, it can play any JAPANESE ps2 game. To have a DDR CS working on it requires modding there is one in TAMPA Florida, and some namco machines are like this as well running ONLY DDR EX US.

Back during the height of DDR (~2004), Namco bought a bunch of DDR Extremes for their arcades. However, it turns out Namco was scammed and they got cheaply-made DDR machines that contained the US CS version of Extreme. They tried to put these in arcades where there were more players so they could be fixed quicker, but the players didn't like it. So, Namco decided to convert all/most of these machines to ITG2 in 2005. They rebuilt the pads to the best of their ability, but it still wasn't anywhere close to being as good as official machines. They eventually sold them for as low as $1,000 (which was a good deal at the time; now, I would be surprised if one was over $300).
They looked like this:

Wow. So, for this next idea for a screwed-up DDR2014 in America, it would reek of a dream I had about Reflec way back when I first joined this site:
So, the songs would all be either deformed in some way or BEMANI crossovers of all our favorite songs (Konami would read our minds), and there would be a "y-axis" with four tiny little arrows in a vertical line, and you'd hit them by using your toes on the center of the pad. And it would zoom in on the tiny arrows when you try to hit them, making you unable to hit any other arrows.
Quote: me, November 30, 2015
Last night, I had a weird dream about Reflec Beat. In the dream, I was playing a deformed version of REFLEC BEAT + on my iPad. I say "deformed" because there were THREE lines instead of two - the two normal horizontal pink & blue lines, then a third vertical line going down the middle. This line was purple, I think. Along this middle line, you had to hit tiny little versions of the green Objects - often a lot at a time.
Even the songs were a bit deformed - the first song I played in this dream was Wow Wow VENUS. It sounded mostly the same as it usually does, but whenever "wow wow" was said in the song, you'd hear the voice of Wubbzy from the Nick Jr. cartoon Wow! Wow! Wubbzy saying it over VENUS's singing. Of course, I had to hit the tiny little green Objects along the middle line (I also recall the dream calling it a y-axis) in addition to the normal Objects on the song's HARD chart. It was odd.
The second song was worse. The song itself, DOES NOT COMPUTE (which never even WAS in Reflec), sounded normal. When I say it was worse, I mean the gameplay, because DOES NOT COMPUTE is one of my favorite BEMANI songs. Apparently, its HARD chart was a level 10, but whenever I went to hit the tiny little green Objects along the middle line, the game would zoom in on the tiny Objects for absolutely no reason, making me unable to hit any Objects along my line (it was the pink one for this song).

Turn DDR 2014 into a war-oriented game like Tekken and other fun games that's been watered down to war shit.
ALSO---
Omg where is there a "machine" like this?
@01angel: The closest you can get to an arcade DDR Extreme/Festival/Fusion...is the Dancing Stage Fusion Arcade Machine! Yes, the theme is the Extreme/Festival/Fusion theme.
@sodartic and everyone who hates Extreme CS US: I LOVED DDR EXTREME! I loved 70% of its song list! I played the hell out of this game when it first came out!

We don't get actual cabinets, we just get generic hard pads and a monitor.

Game replaced with Flow: Urban Dance Uprising.

Also wow, that looks like something you'd find in an old run-down mall or a flea market. LOLing at those kicked in speaker covers.

Three. Would you deal with any of these?
Yes, we're getting DDR 2014. But it's exclusive to Ouya.
AC is equipped with the Japanese version of PASELI, so if
one was to attempt playing event songs or Extra Attack, they'd
have to know Japanese or have a lucky day with Google Translate.
The shark screen comes back.

-New Songs = Crossovers from overseas games
-Osamu Migitera replaces U1 as Sound Director
-DEUS-crossover event that mostly spawns into DDR
-Shock Arrows permanently replace all Challenge Charts
*This includes charts that never had shock arrows before and challenge charts that previously didn't have shock arrows
-All NAOKI songs are removed
-Doubles is removed entirely due to lack of popularity and savings cost
-The DEMO just shows a play through of 5.1.1 on Basic
*Despite no longer appearing in game, data for the song and chart exist
*Data also exists for Timepiece Phase II, Setsugekka, and Wuv U
-U1 adopts a new alias with Yoshitaka titled U-RANUS
-Darwin doesn't make a new song
-DJ SHARPNEL makes his BEMANI debut on DDR with 3 new songs
-TAKA retires and his last song is a remix of V
-Kyle Ward makes his BEMANI debut on DDR with 5 new songs
-Hell freezes over

I still believe that MAX's songlist was better, but both Extreme and Extreme 2 have some great songlists too.

The release date is pushed back, but we get another location test, this time with Look to the Sky and Midnite Blaze back! Only for it to be removed in the final version just like back in X. We also get new Bassdrop Freaks, Chou! enkyori love ma il, and Mathmatic, ma+ma = magic! to replace the removals. Also more songs like Broken My Heart, Destiny, Hyper Eurobeat, Sky is the limit, and New Beginning will be removed to spite the American DDR crowd. [/Me]
also no more max 300
also no more max 300

A new mechanic within DDR 2014's American Release is a 'hurt-and-heal-esque' option. At the end of every month, the most popular songs are all tallied up based on the most played, and all songs in the bottom 5% of the list will be removed permanently from that machine.
