So I won't know how fast a song is going and if there will be any gimmicks on it until I choose it and adjust the speed mods...?

I can't believe DDR Starlight was finally completed

(UI's slick. I swear that's the Rock Band 3 UI font?)

The background also flashes the current beat in 4 unique light collumns

"Fairy-nough"
If you're by 8 on the break, you can check out prototype panels of the type being used for this game on their itg.

Spoilers: they're not very good, deteriorate quickly, and are extremely undersensitive.

I hope things improve but as it stands I have very little hope for this.

Here's hoping someone records footage of the game; as much as we (sorta) saw during those streams over the course of a year, I would like to see how this machine/interface works in a more "first-person" view.

That difficulty scale is really weird; I'm guessing it's similar to PIU's where it's 1-30? Even DDR's 1-20 scale makes more sense to me in comparison.

This saddens me.
The only thing I was hoping for was a good pad.

What are you talking about with deterioration? We haven't seen anything with that.

"Fairy-nough"
Well between when I first played on them and 2 weeks later I found there to be a lot more errors, more than I think would be normal for 2 weeks in any circumstance barring something spilling on the machine (for posterity's sake, I didn't play on the right because once the pad stopped working in the middle of someone else's song and the only usb slot I was aware of was on the left).

Mostly left side left (pretty much around the top and inside of that panel) and left side up (inside to middle) if you're looking for more specifics.

Again, it's a beta, maybe the version that the footage is coming from now is better, someone else will have to speak to that. I don't think poor maintenance / the arcade itself is the issue either so I hope I didn't come off like that, apologies if I did.

Also I am extremely pessimistic in general, no one's fault but myself there. Probably should have been this specific the first post too, whoops.

UI looks good and I'm extremely happy to see this, frankly.

An ripoff to DDR? Really?

sighs internally

All of this seems like bashing just because "fuck ITG", guys. Chill out. A touch screen for the menus isn't an awful idea, no BPM on song selection isn't really that bad considering you should be able to get an idea from the song preview and the difficulty scale will probably make sense, you know, once we've actually played the game.

Approximately nobody asked for this song to be included. Least popular decision by the Japanese since Nintendo released the Wii U.

I'd give it a whirl. Looks interesting.

Only thing though is that the placement of the buttons seems like it could feel very awkward since theyre pretty close together.

You're able to back out of song selection (a la Pump).

"Just Play Along"
Touch screen interface is very smart. Will probably mean less casuals mashing the select button until the first song on the list is playing, and they'll be more intrigued to actually explore the song list...

An ripoff to DDR? Really? But I liked the other name "ReGroove" better
How about you try contributing to the discussion instead of blowing it off as a "DDR ripoff"?

Nice shit posting.

Any body here played it though?

Yeah, because Kyle is really going to make the simfiles public before the game is actually released...

Also, there's a difference between shitposting and making a joke out of a stupid post. Learn the difference.

Looks to me like Kyle completely gave up on making a floor panel version of ReRave.
