Is this pack coming out anytime soon? If people aren't working on this anymore, I can do the rest super fast. It shouldn't take this long!

It's deliberately taking a long time. It's not due to be released until New Years. We're all still working on it.

EDIT: To clarify, it's deliberately taking a long time because the year-end list hadn't even come out until extremely recently, so all the songs that would appear in the pack weren't even confirmed yet.

It's loads better to take your time with work than to just zoom through it.

How‘s the progress coming?

Any chance that the pack will be released during winter break? I'm sure a lot of us would like to have it to play over break. I may have a Stepmania party.

I don't know his country but it's probably going to start the 22nd. This pack will probably see the light in the new year so I don't think it will.

Also, just for clarity, did you receive my Can't Remember to Forget You simfile? I don't know if you have and it's been a long time so I was asking just in case

Most of my friends already started break, and mine starts on Monday. I guess it's different for every school.

Indeed here in Italy we start it next week but in anyway I think that it will be relased even shortly after the school comeback.

Sorry for the lack of communication; as I'm currently awaiting college responses, I haven't been able to check SM stuff, but I did receive Can't Remember to Forget You, Habits, Burn, and a few others before then. Hopefully, by 10 days I'll have an initial pack all ready to download. Also, now that the real list is out I've updated the claims list.

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT UPDATE
Now that the chart is out, I am beginning to upload finished files. Since it is the weekend, there'll be an influx, but after then, if what's already done isn't all updated, expect this update structure:

-1 song from something previously worked on, either from me or the team (i.e. Latch, Break Free, Boom Clap, Animals, Let it Go)
-1 song that has a brand new simfile (i.e. Wiggle, Come With Me Now, Problem, Can't Remember to Forget You)

So let us begin with 2 songs: Both are from the Summer Contest of this year, but one's morphed completely, thus I'm counting it as new.

I work at a community center for "at-risk" youth. Last Friday, I brought Stepmania and my two old PS2 dance pads to see if it could supersede computer games during their free time. These kids (mostly are around elementary to middle school) have NEVER seen this game before. However, being kids, they LOVE anything new that associates things they already know (the songs) to new experiences (the game). They LOVE it.

I was asking about the pack being released during break so the kids I work with could play it during the break. The center is actually open throughout Winter Break and the kids are going to have a lot more free time since there's no homework/school.

DDR Addict, I have already downloaded Animals and Wiggle (and all the other already-released songs). had to delete the video for Wiggle but the kids and staff at our site have always thought this song is hilarious. Also, I am incredibly happy that there was an executive decision to censor the swear words. We have a policy on listening to songs with swear words (censored versions are fine).

Thank you ALL for your incredible work. You may never have thought it would happen, but by making a "2014-Billboard 100 Year End Pack" you just made a new generation of kids love this game. On the extreme end, having this song pack could potentially prevent an "at-risk" child from making some poor decisions. Crazy things happen here.
I may post a picture or two of them playing songs in this pack after it's released (heads would be removed for privacy)... if people are interested.

On other note, one of my two Twin Joystick PADs has been cured of the 'Joy Axis' problem (solution posted to Stepmania.com in July 2014) but the other still has a problem. The kids don't notice the problem exists but I definitely see them getting Misses when it should be registered.

jasonchen, that's wonderful to hear! This weekend shall be bringing plenty more songs, don't worry.

Woohoo. Thanks for the stream of uploads! It's like it's Christmas now.

Non of these songs have background images (thanks for having the videos) and Stepmania keeps sending me error messages notifying me that I don't have them. Is there a way I can turn off these notifications?

I tried making my own background images but
"Place a 4:3 sized png or jpg in the song directory, and StepMania will use it as the background. Name the file "<SongTitle>-bg.png" (for example, if your song is called "Lost", it would be "Lost-bg.png".)"
does not always work for me.
