Most interesting April Fool's all day...I like this...

This is really fun. I was expecting yet another theme for this year's AF, but whoa this thing is so much better than that. I gotta say, some choices are pretty damn hard, but CUTIE CHASER is just... cruel. And BURNIN' THE FLOOR as well, though I somehow managed to get lucky with it, haha. (I guess it's all part of the joke.)

This is my 12th attempt, previous attempt was 13 mistakes. 5 mistakes out of 359 songs is already pretty impressive for me, considering I haven't played anything earlier than EXTREME. I guess I was pretty lucky because all the songs loaded successfully in my PC, heh. Have the pic here.

I agree with anyone who thinks that this should stay around forever. Also the score should be posted reguardless if you failed or not.

The Cutie Chasers and Paranoia Survivors screwed me up as well as the My Summer Loves...

It is best to just show "FAILED" for players who failed. If they care enough to get rid of it, they will do their best and get 16 mistakes or less. Also, this way, people won't know directly who failed with 900k and who failed miserably. If the score is displayed, the bottom players would just feel intimidated. Won't you feel that way too, having a bad score and then having it exposed for the world to see?

So, if you really want some numbers there, work your ass off for it. You'll feel a great sense of accomplishment if you succeed.

again this is supposed to be for fun, but you're all taking this way too seriously. I'm done talking about this.

A. I was being serious [for once]. vincentw did a pretty good job at explaining what I was getting across. It may have come across as more negative and bitter than intended, but my point remains. Why should you be rewarded for your failures? Why should the failures get as much accommodation as the successes? That's not how it's gonna go down; if you want to succeed, then you work to succeed. Why lower your standards and accept less?
B. Thank you for editing my post in your quote where I clearly said "enable" and not "TOLERATE", as well as taking said segment entirely out of context.
C. Rating me down simply because you disagree with me is not how ratings work.

Yeah, it was fun and all, but it's not April Fools anymore, the quiz is only fun for so long, and the game is putting a harsh clamp down on the servers (don't even try to act like the game isn't playing a huge part to slowdowns and lock ups this website has been encountering these past few days). Unless the game gets hosted elsewhere, I am 100% for its removal.

I take it that you didn't click what Oni linked to in the post directly before yours. Y'know. The "SATIRE KLAXON"? Seems to me that the only one taking this "too seriously" here is you.

Ideas are nice. What's even nicer is accepting some criticism and knowing that maybe you can live with an idea not going through.

It's not, I disabled it for 5 minutes and the slow downs continued. The slow downs began on Monday, which was 3/31 out of coincidence.

Ok where did you get that from? I wasn't asking for my failures to be rewarded. Again I'm misunderstood.

All I was asking was a small simple change and everyone (okay, not everyone) goes apeshit on me. Ok fine lets leave the damn scores on the Leaderboard and just have a simple Pass or Fail in their profile. I'm willing to compromise so everyone can be happy.


You can make any rebuttal at this point, because I'm going to ignore this.
